The Creed is more than a title from a song with a great lyric: it’s a declaration of surrender, a demarcation line in the sand that says ‘We finally understand that it’s not about us or about our plans or about what we think we want to say. All that can go away. We know that it’s all about you, Lord, the One who is living and breathing in us. The only reason we are here.’
From the beginning, Janna says, “There were all these ideas that we were this pre-fab, too-polished group that wouldn’t last, but even after nine years, I look at everything we’ve been through, especially this season of change, and I see how God has been continually working things out in all of us. That’s not to say that we’re still without struggles, but so much has happened, and we’ve just tried to keep showing up and obeying what we feel God has called us to do. …I feel like we’re in that spring, after the long winter, when everything begins to wake up, to come back to life. We’re in such a good place.”
"I am so excited to see what the Lord has for this group. Having been apart of a group during college I am reminded now about how much fun it is to sing with people whose desire is matched by their talents. It is an honor to be used of God in this ministry called Avalon."
That place, Jody says, is beyond the music. “I feel like Avalon has truly become a ministry. And personally, I’m at a ‘come what may’ point now. We’ve been through so much, and so much has changed, and obviously for some reason, God still wants this to be. If it’s nine more years, I’m here for nine more. I’m here for the long haul.”

You can definately tell that Avalon has improved over the years. Of course there could be nothing wrong with the singing, there are some awesome songs on here, but before you buy this album...check out some of their other stuff. :)

This was one of the first cd's that I purchased with my own money. I had heard the song "In Not Of" on the radio and fell in love with it so much that I wanted to own a copy of it. When I got the cd I enjoyed about half of the songs on it, but the other half were less than stellar. Don't get me wrong, it is still worth buying to get those precious few amazing songs, but some of the in-between's are a bit of a disappointment. Avalon is such a great and talented group that I just wasn't as impressed with this as I was with the rest of their work.

In not of was the 1st Avalon Song i ever heard. That was the whole point of buying this CD, but when i got home I skipped In Not Of. If My People pray made me cry. This is a wonderful Cd

This was my first Avalon CD, and the expirence of listening to it the first time was great. now thats how i feel everytime I hear Avalon. this was their 2nd CD and from their 1st to their last its only gotten better.

Avalon has such tight harmonies and encouraging lyrics, it's hard not to smile when I hear this music! A friend of mine did a mime skit to "Wonder Why [Larrying Mix]" that was so powerful, and I wasn't sure if it was the skit or the song that gave me chills...but I knew I had to have the cd. So I bought it. The skit had something to do with my initial hearing of the song, but the song itself is so powerful it stands by itself. The remixes are wonderful and they are so cheerful and fresh that they make you want to dance! They are also easy to focus in on worshipping God with them. A very hugely recommended buy. You won't be disappointed, if upbeat dance music is your style! If I could rate this a "10" I would!

This cd is extremely awesome, is so great how God has blessed this guys and when hear that music, you are so closed to the presence of God, so powerfull voices, so great musicians, so georgeous sound, guys you are the best, may God bless always and, if can buy this cd, go and buy it !!
