Excellent Quiet Time Resource! September 29th, 2004

Beth Moore is by far the best author writting for women today. HEr books are saturated with the Word of God, there is no doubt in the readers mind how focuses she is in getting you in the word of God as opposed to christian books. THis book is specifically useful for topics such as lying, eating diorders, and multiple issues that face christian women today, this book is one you keep with your Bible for quiet time and prayer time refferece the leather is evern more nice to add to your collection. I reccomend this for anyone interested in the topic of using the word in prayer, she even gives prayer examples in the book to make it easier to use. A must for any womans library!

Beth Moore is a master story teller and writer. She tells of her life of marriage, motherhood, and Christian with poignant poems and narratives. Through her told pain, she relates to her audience extensively. From Beth's unique heart for God comes an excellent coffee table book; one to read over and over.

As always, this amazing author has once agian pulled out so much truth from the word. This book is based on the subject of faith, "believing God" as opposed to just believeing IN God. It has strenghthen my relationship with God and I reccommend it to you. It is full of verses to back up Ms. Moore's points, I am always amazed at the knowldge she has of the word. This is by far one of her best books on the market.

This has been a very moving and awakening book. I read it with a group of women who I do a bible study with, we had weekly discussions on a couple chapters at a time. We did not follow the formal "study" but gained so much from this book and each other. I HIGHLY suggest you read it or study it with a group.....do not pass this one up!

Beth Moore is a vibrant personality with much to say about our Lord, Jesus Christ and his Father and his Spirit. This series looks in depth at the fruit of the Spirit and how it practically applies to our lives today. Every session and every day's work taught me so much. She has a way of looking at scripture that brings it alive and shows new understanding. She has much life experiences that she pulls from, she is funny and sincere and very full of the Spirit. Anyone could learn something or everything from this study.
