Sheer Genius! July 5th, 2005 Reviewer: Max from MT "The Great Divorce" takes you on a journey through both heaven and hell. It's characters reveal the truth of how humans think on these subjects and what they really should be thinking. It gives you a beautiful glimpse of how heaven may be, and how some people just want to be lazy and not work toward an everlasting reward. It also deals with attitudes that can be found in our lives (i.e. reluctance and fear) and the horrible consequences that these can bring. A lovley read! Was this review helpful to you? NY The last book in C. S. Lewis' space trilogy, and what an end it was. This book is an amazing final issue of what C. S. Lewis' brillant mind drew out on paper. an inticing novel with amazing descriptions that will capture you're heart. In love with these books! November 28th, 2005 Reviewer: Chelsi from C.S. Lewis intrigues the mind and leads the reader into a fantasy world in his Chronicles of Narnia. I am enthralled more and more as I read each book. These books were not only inteneded for children, but they open minds of adults as well. He ties in his stories with the story of Jesus Christ and how he sacrificed his life for us. I love finding the ways he relates his faith in with these books! PLEASE read these books. September 20th, 2005 Reviewer: Anonymous C.S. Lewis was a wise guy when he wrote these books! I LOVE them! I've been reading them since I've been in second grade (i'm in 10th now) and the books have never lost their timeless wisdom for me... it is such an awesome series, definitly a MUST for family story collections! THis is also a great version of the series, durable and complete! I have not a single bad thing to say about this series or the way it is published. July 5th, 2005 Reviewer: Max from MT Lewis' fantasy series "The Chronicles of Narnia" are very good books written in an allegorical fashion in a mythical land called Narnia. Follow Digory in the discovery of another world and the cration of Narnia by the Christ-like lion, Aslan. Then follow the Pevensie children into the wardrobe and on their own adventures in this fantasy land. Very interesting and attention-grabbing. A definite recommendation for all ages!
