Must Have! August 4th, 2004 Reviewer: Merinda from Marion, IL The songs on this CD are very dynamic and have strong messages. And, they match David Phelps' powerful voice very well. I love the variety in the music, as well. I can't really pick favorites--the whole project is well worth the money!! Was this review helpful to you? A pleasant surprise November 19th, 2004 Reviewer: Anonymous wow, this guy has some serious pipes. David has a real gospel kind of sound, but he knows how to usefully integrate guitars and piano-driven melodies as well. It's hard not to rave about "the end of the beginning" because it's just such a powerful song. My co-favorite is "Miles and miles away" because it paints such a clear picture of the unbelievable hurdles Christ cleared to reach us. He could make any song sound twice as good just because it came out of his mouth. "O Holy Night" is one of my favorite Christmas songs and he does it beautifully.
