Awesome worship album November 2nd, 2004 Reviewer: Douglas A from michigan After being away from Christian music, I discovered worship and Fernando Ortega on the radio and could not wait to hear this album when it came out. November 3rd, 2004 Reviewer: Shawn from Oregon Fernando Ortega is a musician of many acoustic sounds ranging from traditional folk to more modern, light rock infused styles. This album is musically impressive, and lyrically pensive. I like the prevalence of the piano throughout the album, as well as the cello solos where one might expect electric guitar. If you like artists like Andrew Peterson, Caedmon's Call, or Jars of Clay, you'll enjoy this album...one more thing. It's mostly slower paced, so it's more of a "going-to-sleep" type album than a rockin' one, although there are a good number of toe-tapping tunes! Good Stuff! Was this review helpful to you? Great music on DVD April 5th, 2005 Reviewer: Henry from Conway, Arkansas Fernando's first DVD is an outstanding experience. The music, of course, is excellent. Fernando is charming--humble and surprisingly funny. The DVD itself includes a nice number of extras: additional songs, a commentary track by Fernando himself along with a couple of his bandmates, and a hidden track that's worth a chuckle.
