Max Lucado has yet another winner! This bible study is great. It's easy to read, easy to follow, and very informative.

In my walk with Christ I had become thirsty, I was not reading the word or spending time with Him. I did not realize until I read this wonderful book how to truly drink from him. This book really take you to a place you did not realize you could go. If you are thirsty for Jesus, Max Lucado will easily show you the way to be filled and start fresh. All of his books are inspiring, but this one inparticular made a huge impact on my life and walk. I now finding myself when I know I am running dry telling the Lord "OK I am very thirsty, please fill me up" it really does work, I so highly reccomend this book.

Max Lucado takes you into Biblical events and describes them at and through every angle. He brings alive the people, their attitudes, and their circumstances, while making them seem real and relational. Max also uses modern day parables to stress his point of Jesus' love. Both these elements combine to compose each anecdote with humor and/or drama.

I recieved this book as a present two years ago, when I turned twelve. I'm now fourteen and have read this book at LEAST twenty times. Every time I read it, I learn more and more and more about my Christian walk, even if from same section of the book. Max Lucado, through this work, has taught me so much through amazing analogies and stories and statistics and explanations.
A TERRIFIC book for ALL AGES! At first glance, it seemed a little "adult" for me when I was 12, but I gave it a try, and I was shocked... I learned SO MUCH even as a preteen! A terrific choice for a teenager's present, whether for graduation, birthday, or Christmas- you won't regret giving this wonderful wonderful book!

We all carry our burdens every day and we do not fully understand how they drag us down in our lives. This book will help you to find what baggage you are carrying and how to unload it allowing you freedom in serving Jesus without guilt. Max Lucado is so wonderful in the way he expresses himself and tells his stories. This book is very hard to put down.
