I love every song on this CD!! "Strangely Normal," "El Salvador," and "Together" are my most favorite. Out of all the CDs I own, I probably listen to this one the most! Any Phil Joel or Newsboys fan must have this CD!

Phil Joel is the bassist and vocalist from the Newsboys, and he does an awesome job in his first solo album...or is it really solo? A closer look reveals that all of the Newsboys were involved in this project...but Phil did the songwriting and lead vocals. The words to these songs are amazing! I love the title track, "Watching over you" and also the song "My Generation". This album differs slightly from classic Newsboys albums in style, but you have the same heart for God here.
If you like the Newsboys....get this CD!

This album is SOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT!!!
Phil I talented I LOOOVE his voice so much (and his hair ^_*)
No but really, I love this CD it's one of my top favorties.
Before I even knew about him I saw "God Is Watching over You" Music video and that's what got me started(never listened to the Newsboys till after I heard of Phil) and then i heard the album.
Favs (even though I love the whole album)

This CD is unlike his first CD he released as a solo artist. It is more personal and makes you fall in love with Jesus all over again. Phil Joel couldn't have made a better CD. This CD features the song "The Man You Want Me To Be" and "I Adore You," two songs I absolutely LOVE!

Phil Joel reveals his heart and it shines through in the lyrics! There's a nice blend of up beat songs, like "Resolution", and ballads . I recomend this CD!

Phil Joel has put together a stunning CD! I bought this because I heard the song "Man You Want Me to Be" and loved it. THen when I got the CD I fell in love with it all! Sometimes when a group member goes solo for a album it ends up sounding the same as the group. Somehow Phil has made for himself his own sound and it rocks! The lyrics are solid and very moving. I highly recommend this!!!!

Deliberate Kids is amazing! Everyone I play it for from kids to teens to adults love it! We had the privilege of seeing Phil and Heather do some of these songs at Spirit West Coast. Phil puts as much energy and excitement into this project as he did with any of the Newsboys projects. His whole heart is in it and it really comes through on the CD. It was also a huge blessing to see this husband and wife team doing this ministry together. We now start every morning listening to "Good Morning" and other songs while we eat breakfast and its amazing how it sets a joyful mood for the day. Thank you Phil and Heather for sharing your hearts and blessing us all.
