The birth of contemporary a cappella October 13th, 2004

Take 6 emerged in 1988 with their first album, and wowed everyone with their skill and style. Vocal acappella had never seen this level and still strives to match the skill of Take 6's first album. Every song on this cd will give you joy, and amazement at the intricate and perfect chords created by these 6 men. You won't be able to find another group that can match Take 6's quality, and this is where it all started. Everyone should own this CD. That's right, I said EVERYONE.

If you're looking for something a little different from your plain, regular Christmas music, this CD offers a jazzy rendition of many popular Christmas songs. The vocals sparkle on this album. It's definitely one you'll want in your Christmas music library.

Some great collaborations, but not their best album October 13th, 2004

My rating is a 4 because this isn't Take 6 best album, although it still shows off their skill. There are also some great collaborations with Ray Charles, Queen Latifah, and Stevie Wonder. They stray away from their a cappella roots, but show they are multi-talented. For the Ray Charles fans, this is a great album to have to remember the passed performer. You'll be surprised with an entire CD of great music.
