The Last Disciple
On a hot summer day, deep in the emperor's palace, death arrived hidden in a sealed scroll. When Helius discovers what's written in the scroll, he recognizes it as the symbol he'll stop at nothing to keep hidden.

First-century Jerusalem begins to experience the turbulence Christ prophesied as the beginning of the last days. What is the meaning of 666? Some want to reveal its meaning, and others will kill to keep it hidden.

As the enemy seeks to find John's letter, Revelation, and destroy it, the early Christians must decipher the code in order to survive.

Great book - a real "page-turner" January 12, 2006
Reviewer: Ethan from Chicago, IL area

This is a great book, both as fiction and as theology. It has a really interesting theological perspective. It is preterist in position - i.e. the authors believe that the Tribulation occurred in the 1st Century. The authors do a great job explaining their position through fiction without sounding too contrived. The fiction is good too (although I found the format of constantly switching "scenes" between characters a little hard to follow at times). The authors do a good job keeping the book interesting and keeping you turning the pages. I look forward to reading the next book to see what happens next. Not only was this an interesting and fun read, it helped increase my understanding of the 1st Century Church and of the Book of Revelations. Definitly strongly recommended.
