Author Information

Ted Dekker
The son of missionaries John and Helen Dekker, whose incredible story of life among headhunters in Indonesia has been told in several books, Ted Dekker learned at a very early age the difference between authentic Christianity and so-called religion. Surrounded by the vivid colors of the jungle and a myriad of cultures, Dekker received a first-class education on human nature and behavior. This, he believes, is the foundation of his writing.

After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Religion and Philosophy from Evangel College, Dekker spent time in the corporate world before turning to writing full-time in 1997. He states that each time he writes, he finds his vision of God just a little clearer and his expression of that vision a little more vivid. Dekker's body of work contains over twenty novels including Thr3e, The Circle Series, and Sinner.

He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife LeeAnn and their four children.

This is the first book i have read in a long time, and it was a great one to start back up on. With this book ted dekker is my new favorite artist, and has great skill in christian writing. This book will make you want to read more and more until the book is done. You must add it to your collection

When I finished this novel, all I could do was say, "Wow." The twists were so mind-boggling that my brain stayed in shock mode for several hours. I can definitely say that Three is one of my favorite books of all time. Ted Dekker is a master of his genre!

This book is great! Ted Dekker knows how to draw his readers in like a moth to a buglight! The ending leaves just a tiny bit to be desired--but I must admit--it's an awesome twist that you couldn't possibly see coming!

This was the first book by Ted Dekker and I was amazed. I have always liked mysteries with wild twists and was looking for a Christian author who could keep me guessing with every page. This book was wrote to where you think you know what is going to happen but you are never sure until the very end. I was told by the lady at the bookstore that people had either said they loved or hated the book. I can say that I loved it and reccommended it to my mom who also loved it.

Thr3e is my favorite book, and I'm an avid reader. Usually I can figure out the endings of books early on, but not in this one. Ted Dekker throws in twists and turns that keep you guessing and then you're stunned at the end. I've read it twice in the space of a month. It's a thrilling suspense that I'd recommend to any one. Christian content is at a level so that long-time Christians can get something out of it, and unsaved readers will be attracted and begin to think about conquering evil.

I absolutely loved this Ted Dekker novel. I find Dekker to be a fascinating author, with always a new plot and more ideas for twists than any other writer I've read. Three is a very fast-paced novel with a tight story line and many interesting characters and events. It's not gory, but it does contain some *slightly* disturbing content as far as violence goes. But this is not to discourage anyone, I loved the book. The major and minor twists and plot changes throughout the book were not anticipated at all and made for a great reading, in just a few days! And all through the twists the book remains true to word - no inconsistencies. I'm waiting to forget a little of the thrilling parts before I read it again...and again...and again.
