I was first introduced to this album in the summer of 1997, shortly after it came out. In these last nine years, I have been through two copies of this album, and am about to buy my third copy- they see so much use that a great web of scratches is inevitable. I can safely say that no album, Christian or not, has influenced my life so completely and so constantly as this one. I find strength, solace, comfort, and fire all in these songs, and if I ever stray from the Path, "Worlds Apart" is always there to set me straight. Purely glorious, a true masterwork.

"Worlds Apart" has got to be one my all time most favourite songs, especially from the "futhermore" album. If you want great music and lyrics in a mellow style, buy anything album by Jars of Clay

This is a legendary one... maybe it´s a little old, but it don´t take off its quality. It contains a fresh rock that is unforgettable. My favorite song: Liquid

This album has been really encouraging. The song "Boy on a String" and " "Flood" have touched my heart and dear to me. One song brings a tear to my eye everytime.

A classic for any true Jars of Clay fan. You've probably heard the radio hits a million times, but even better are the songs like "Worlds Apart." Definitely recommend!

Wow. What can I say? I was about 10 years old when this cd came out so I can't say I bought it when it was first released. Still, to this day, when I listen to it, it gets better and better. Music-wise, probably their second best after If I Left the Zoo. Lyrically, however, their best and perhaps the best cd lyrics I have heard within the Christian music scene. Get this cd for your collection if you don't have it yet.

If every group has its classic, then this is it for JoC. It is arguably their best cd, with all-time favorites such as "Liquid," "Love Song For A Savior," "Flood," "Worlds Apart," well, really all of them are amazing...You just have to get it!

I remember buying this CD and wondering how these guys had put together such a masterpiece. Years later, I still feel the same way. Their lyrics are deep and meaningful, plus there is a nice balance between fast and slow songs. brilliant.

I think this album was the 2nd CD I ever bought. From beginning to end, an amazing album. An absolutely great debut, and to date I still believe it to be their best work. Ten acoustic rock songs that are great to listen to (and jam to) again and again... Listen out for: "Flood", "Boy On A String", "Love Song For A Savior" and "Blind"
