this album is first of the band, and contains rock, rap and funk, of a quite pleasant way, and in addition that the letters have a deep message. My favorite song is: Open Your Eyes. The only complaint is that the songs are of short duration.

This is probably Pillar's worst album that's out on the market. The lyrics are horrible and, once again, you must have a very good taste for rap music. In my opinion, there are no good songs on this album.

This album can be described as nothing short of awesome. It is full of groove and good energy. I can't help but jam when I hear it. I love the reggae sound they incorporate and the message is there. They come across as controlled and very well articulated in their music. No overkill on either side of the metal or reggae sound and no choppy transitions. How you can listen to this album and not give it up to God, I don't know.

Let me start by saying that this CD simply rocks. However, I made the mistake of buying their album "Fireproof" first, then expecting more of the same from this one. As I said, that was a mistake. The sound is entirely different (not as hard for one thing), as is most of the message. But the music just kind of grew on me and now I like it just about as much as I do "Fireproof". I can't really compare them because they're two completely different sounds, but they're both great in their own way. So I'd recommend that you buy not only this CD, but "Fireproof" and anything else this terrific band releases. Enjoy!

When I first heard the song "Live for Him" on our local Christian rock station, 89.7 power fm, I knew I had 2 get the album & after listenin 2 it, I loved it so much that I had 2 go see them in concert & they were even better in concert & if u ever get 2 meet the guys, they r such nice, sweet, & awesome guys w/ such a powerful love 4 the Lord that can only be understood through their music

Pillar combines an AWESOME message with a never-backing-down faith in their lyrics, with awesome guitar riffs and beats to form a wonderful 14 track compliation that any rap/rock fan would love. Pillar does a lot of rock where the lead singer raps his songs - it sounds similar, but not the same to, P.O.D. They have several songs that are just straight Rock, however, so you get a good mix. Most importantly the message and teaching Pillar gives you on this album is exceptional. The message they spread with the awesome music they play on this album is phenomenal. If you even are remotely interested in this genre, check this CD out. It's very good! Highlights: Above, Live For Him, Original Superman, You Should Know, Unity, Open Up Your Eyes

This cd offers alot to the listener although it's nothing new. Their standard rap lyrical/rock musical approach to music definitely opens your ears but at the same time doesn't completely satisfy your need for something creative. However, for lovers of the standard rap/rock, this album will rock your face off.
