Author Biography Amy Grant got her start in the music business with a part-time job sweeping up a Nashville music studio, which provided the perfect opportunity to duplicate a tape of her original songs as a gift for her family. A studio executive overheard her recordings-and the rest is music history.
Since the surprising success of her debut album thirty years ago, Amy has grown into a music legend, with six Grammy Awards, twenty-six Dove Awards, and six pop chart-topping hits to her credit. Though I'm not a big fan of Amy's last CDs I love the ones from the early 90's. This CD will be a good one to keep in my collection.

Amy Grant continues where she left off with her "Legacy" CD in 2002. NO doubt if you liked that, you will most likely enjoy this collection as well. Her version of "Joyful Joyful" is different, but enjoyable. Overlooking this fact, this CD is definitely worth the buy.

That's all I have to say about it, a jewel! Like the first one, this is a beautiful album too! Her voice is so overwhelming. Thank you Amy for singing these great old songs in a modern jacket!
You can hear the effort they made to produce this album, every song is different with surprising guests.

This album is a lovely and inspiring compilation of hymns. The vocal harmonies provided by Grant's husband, Vince Gill, are the perfect compliment, especially on the title song. Other stand outs are "Sweet Will of God" and "O Master, Let me Walk with Thee". If you are looking for an uplifting musical selection, this is a good choice.

A great Compilation Of Amy's 2nd part of her long & productive career , you get to dig more into her "pop" side of things .
I know there's probably mixed feelings on some of these years from Diehard fans , but it really opned up a whole new audience for amy.
Songs like "baby baby" & evry Heartbeat got her heard on standard pop stations , I think Lead me on is one of her greatest songs & it's also nice to get a few new Remixes & a couple new songs , Really a great cd all around & a great place to start a collection , It also Brings new life into the older stuff with a great remastering job , this is a must have !

AMy Grants early work is some of her best if not her best. Nothing compares with her early pop/praise songs. They are timeless classics. Standouts on this are her cover of the song "El Shaddai" "Thy Word" and "Fathers Eyes." This CD contains 17 songs and is one of the best albums of the 80s. Some of the songs are a little dated but they still have that factor that makes them listenable today. A must for all fans of any type of Christian music.
