The Very Best of Avalon: Testify to Love

Even if Avalon is not your favorite group, you'll love this album. All four members are extremely talented and the songs are top-notch! In addition to containing many of Avalon's #1 songs from their first four albums, there are 3 new recordings, two of which also topped the charts after their release.
If there is one thing I would change about this album, it is the bonus track at the end of the CD. While "Don't Save it All for Christmas Day" is a beautiful song, I don't necessarily want to hear it in, say, August. I generally stop the CD before the song starts.

This cd is a must have for any AC fans. This cd is constantly in my "on the go" cd collection. It's got the usual beautiful AC style ballads that Avalon is so famous for. But it's also go really fun upbeat songs that I really honestly think Rock stations would play. I have even thought about singing a few of these songs for my church. And anyone who knows me knows i don't sing for an audience. Unfortunatly though... After i ger to "In Not Of" (number 11) I usually take the cd. Up to that point the cd is awesome but after that I don't really like it. But hey 11 out 16 are great odds right? :)

I like this book also because it has all of the the notes for the instruments i need. ( piano and guaitar) This book also includes vocal notes so i can follow the runs when O am singing my desired songs.

I admit I don't know a lot about Avalon, but when I bought this album, I was really surprised. These people know how to sing! I have to give this album the highest rating becauseI can't imagine them putting together a better album of awesome songs. Besides "Testify to love", which we all know is a classic, I was happy to become acquianted with songs like "Pray", "the glory" (really awesome!), and "Wonder why". There's no good reason not to own this album.

Avalon is a great group with down to earth "real" people. I would reccommend any of Avalon's material to anyone. They are a tremendous group; blessed by God.

This is Avalon's best work to date! They made the right decision of working with Brown Bannister as producer. All the songs are great, except at the end of "The Best Thing" gets really repetitive.
My favorite track on the album and of all Avalon's songs is "I Don't Wanna Go." Janna's vocals on this song is pure ear candy.
Other great tracks are "Wonder Why," "Undeniably You," "Make it Last Forever," and "The Glory."
Great, great, great!!

Avalon has certainly set the standard with this one. Oxygen displays the incredable talent of each member. Cherie reaches the peak of her career w/ Avalon in "Undeniably You". "I Don't Want To Go" shows off Janna's unbelievable ability to captivate audiences with her God given vocal ability. "Make It Last Forever" and "Wonder Why" reveal Jody's dynamic vocal. And Michael relaxes listeners withhis soothing voice in "Come And Fill My Heart". But the song that sets the new standard is "The Glory" which shows the undying gratitude for Christ's ultimate sacrifice. Jody and Cherie share their most dynamic and beautiful performance in what , I think, is Avalon's best song by far. Oxygen is a must have for any music fan

Avalon has been around long enough to make a permanent mark on the CCM industry. Their powerhouse voices and meaningful lyrics have changed many a life, including mine. This album is full of beautiful, uplifting songs, including "Orphans of God" and "Where Joy and Sorrow Meet." Just by listening to Avalon you can tell that they love the Lord with everything they have, and they have a passion to reach out to people and encourage them to STAND.

"Faith" is an amazing collection of old, classic hymns as well as relatively new ones. Avalon captures the reverence that these hymns are most-widely known for while adding a modern and fresh feel to it. Such as in "In Christ Alone" -- although it has been redone a number of times, Avalon still finds a way to put a new spin on it while keeping the sacredness to the song (which makes it my favorite hymn on the record). One thing that I also appreciate about this album is that Avalon was willing to explore different genres of music and add their own personal touch to it all-the-while not compromising the superb vocals and harmonies they have always been known for. This album covers styles from jazz to gospel, but this team of four still execute each song with the most skill and care that would be expected from any music fan. Great job, Avalon!

FAITH is an awesome cd, avalon continues to provide great music.
I love all of these hymns, but i especially like "ill fly away" and "Jesus medley". I have been using this cd in the mornings during my quiet time and it has really spiced it up. Thank you avalon for another spectuacular cd. If you are in search for a great cd, then I highly recommend this one. You may want to grab several, “Faith” makes a great Christmas gift.

This is the Best Avalon album out their it contains lots of great Pop harmony songs. All of the songs are very worshipful and are great to sing along to. Powerful lyrics and great production make this a must for all CCM fans. This usually isnt my type of music I like to listen to harder stuff but I really like this CD. I am not a huge fan of this type of music but this is a great collection of Songs. They all have very powerful lyrice and the vocals are so amazing. Even with a new editon to the group their is still nothing lacking. Standout tracks are "The Glory" "Wonder Why" "Give It Up" and "I Dont Want To Go" Also has a couple of new tracks and a Christmas song "Dont Save It All For Christmas Day." The latter off of their Christmas album. A great pop album that you can sing along to and very worshipful.
