Stand Up Stand Up stands out July 19th 2004 by Brent in USA
This album for me is all about one song, the title track 'Stand Up'. The words of the chorus are great (verse is a bit uninspiring) the tune just gets into you and stirs deep within. There are some other nice songs here, particularly 'Lose It Again'. 'Live For You Tonight' and ' Hanging On'. The whole album may not be to everyone's tastes, some of it getting quite heavy. The lead singer has a very lazy style of singing and slurs his words out, but this actually adds something to some of the songs. I would recommend this album just for the title track, without this song I'd only give it 3 out of 5.

Anthems for the Imperfect "Everyday" I fall in love with this album more July 20th 2004 by Shannon in Phoenix, AZ
This is an amazing album! It's got the catchy songs that ES is known for, but also brings in the worshipful aspect of their band. Trey Pearson's voice is my favorite part about ES because it's so unique, and has a great range. A lot of their songs also tell great stories and are a pleasure to listen to because of that.
Two songs on this album stick out to me:
"Herself (I want a girl) " is especially encouraging to guys that they really can find great Christian girls out there. And for girls, this song encourages us live out our faith and reminds us that christian guys will admire us for making an effort to do so.
"The One" is a beautiful worship song, complete with violin solos, about Jesus being the ONLY ONE to follow. This song makes me cry when I hear it because it's such a beautiful cry out to the LORD!

Stand Up Stand Up July 27th 2004 by Anonymous in USA
I love this cd because it has some songs that help me feel better when I'm not feeling too good about life. Like "Hanging On". That reminds me that God is always there, & He hangs on to us even when we're tired of holding on. & then there's songs like "Lost It Again" & "This Time" to rock out to, & then there's "Stand Up", a great worship song. Definitely 5 stars.

Stand Up Really 3 1/2, maybe even 4 stars . . . August 18th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
"Hanging On" is truly inspirational, a power ballad with intensity and heart. The song "Stand Up" is a great radio rocker. But overall, this album is kind of hit and miss. Consistency is lacking, overall, but that is not to dissuade people from finding this album. The raw surge of energy that marks this album gives it a special place among my collection, if only for the half-dozen standout songs ("Sleeper" included) that show that Christian rock can be equally fun.

Anthems for the Imperfect Impressive Progress . . . August 18th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
"Won't Give Up" . . . track 4 . . . absolutely amazing . . . just . . . wow . . . I can't say enough about it. Overall, the first half of Everyday Sunday's sophomore release is exceptional, with (what I would consider) a slight drop-off in originality in the second half. "Untitled, Anonymous" and "What Love Is" exhibit a growth in both musicianship and lyric ability from their first release, and the song "Something" marks a harder, edgier move for Everyday Sunday into the realm of rock.

Stand Up Stand Up For Jesus! September 2nd 2004 by in Idaho
"Stand Up" from Everyday Sunday, is one album I find myself getting lost in worship with God, whenever I hear "Hanging On", or "just A Story." These guys have truly got a gift from God with the talents they have in their music--writing and singing abilities! Their sound is wonderful together, as well.

Anthems for the Imperfect Everyday Sunday Does It Again! September 2nd 2004 by in Idaho
These guys are awesome! Their God-given talent to write and sing music that they put on this CD (and their other albums), are terrific! "Gypsy Girl (What Love Is)" is a great song that brings the true meaning of Love and what it means to hang onto llife for what it's worth. "Dying to live, you're dying to know what love is, and I'm trying to show you something more" is the way the chorus goes, and it's so hard to tell non-believers that there's something more to live their lives for--Jesus and His love for them. Especially where love is concerned.

Anthems for the Imperfect Another great album September 4th 2004 by Anonymous in NC
Everyday Sunday is one of my favorite bands! I never get tired of listening to 'Anthems of the Imperfect'. It's just a great CD. I love every song on the CD and can listen to it over and over again. The song, 'The One' includes Matt Theissen from Relient K and it's a pretty song. I also love 'Gypsy girl', 'I wish I could say' and 'Won't Give up'...those are just a few of may favorite songs. All the songs have a great message and can minister to all ages.

Stand Up Great Rock Album!!! September 25th 2004 by Melissa in Illinois
This is one of my favorite albums. The fast pace rock rhythm gets me energized to do anything. The lyrics are full of truth. The album is all about living your life for God and it's awesome. The CD has a mix of slower songs along with the rock. Altogether this is a great CD.

Anthems for the Imperfect Another Good Rock Album!!! September 25th 2004 by Melissa in Illinois
Everyday Sunday's sophomore album is a bit different from their first CD, but it is still good. The rock in the album has more funk mixed in. The best song on this album is 'The One'. This is one of Everyday Sunday's slower songs, but it is premium. This is a good rock CD.

Stand Up This album Rocks! November 3rd 2004 by Shawn in Oregon
Pensive Lyrics, Haunting melodies, harmonies, and driving guitars with a bit of crunch make this album a great energizing experience that points to Jesus who we can stand up for because of His faithfulness to us! This band is not extremely artistically unique from most other pop/rock bands like Seven Places and Downhere, but they do have a certain distinguishing sound at times. "Hanging On" is a hit. I also liked "Mess with your Mind".
Good Stuff!

Anthems for the Imperfect Nice New Sound November 4th 2004 by Tony in Newport, OR
It's good to hear a rock band with a new sound to it. The lead singer's voice is different from the traditional deep voice of most rock bands today. This CD is good both lyrically and musically. I highly recommend it!

Stand Up Christian Music June 15th 2005 by in Beaver County, PA
I'm amazed that so few people seem to know about this band. This album is one of my favorites, and no matter how many times I listen to it, I never get sick of it. Everyday Sunday's style reminds me of both Relient K and Switchfoot (two other favorite groups), though it has less of a punk feel than Relient K and isn't as hard as Switchfoot. Songs range from the intense beat of "Wait" to the worshipful "Stand Up," yet all blend for a tight album that it's hard to choose a favorite song from. They're all good.

Anthems for the Imperfect yay! June 25th 2006 by Anonymous in USA
I LOVE EVERYDAY SUNDAY! THey are a great punk/pop/rock band that is very clear on their message and what they believe in. They are awesome people and I have loved everything they have put out. If you are a fan of bands like Relient K, and more of the pop/punk you will like them. Me on the other hand like them still and Im a big fan of bands like Haste the Day and Kids in the Way. So, as you can see, they hit a variety of people. So...they are simply awesome!!!

Wake Up! Wake Up! Great CD March 4th 2008 by Chris in New York
If you like Hawk Nelson or any other punk rock band, you’ll enjoy this band, who is not afraid of their faith. In fact they thrive in it. Favorite song: Apathy for Apologies.
