Jars of Clay Jars of Clay July 15th 2004 by Ethan in Sandpoint
This is a very mellow CD and includes their hits, Liquid and Flood which are my favorites. Great for the new Christian. Doesn't sound like too much of a worship album but really celebrates God.

Jars of Clay Maybe my favorite Christian CD ever July 16th 2004 by Eric in Texas
Like the title of this review says, this may be my all time favorite Christian CD ever. I've listened to this CD more than any other CD I've owned. And there have been times on long car trip where this CD has played "cover-to-cover" for at least five hours. The lyrics are incredible. Everyone should have this in their CD collection. And Worlds Apart is just what the name says, worlds apart.

Who We Are Instead Great CD July 16th 2004 by Laura in Ohio
Jars of Clay releases another awesome album that is unlike many rock CDs around at this time. It opens with an upbeat \"Sunny Days\" that will get stuck in your head for hours. That song is followed by many other great ones. This album somehow always lifts my mood and helps me to focus on what really should be important in life - God and how He is going to change our lives. Go ahead and buy this album, and you won.

Jars of Clay All time great July 16th 2004 by Troy in Dallas
This album will go down in my book as one of the all time greatest albums to make a difference in my life. You can truly feel the spirit in these songs. Jars of Clay did a wonderful job of combining their very distinct elements into enjoyable and inspiring songs. I think the determing factor in this CD is the fact that more than just guitars and drums are used to create their unique sound.

The Eleventh Hour Finally July 16th 2004 by Phillip in San Antonio
Not having liked their past two albums, Jars of Clay has again put together a disk that I like. While I still think that their first album is by far their best cd I would definatly say this is their second best cd. It was well produced and their sound is a much more rounded sound this time around. This is a cd worth getting.

The Eleventh Hour Awesome July 20th 2004 by Kristin in USA
While I feel some of the tracks were overplayed on the radio, this is by far my favorite Jars of Clay album. There are a variety of messages that you can pick up through the songs, and the songs are ones you'll want to listen to, and very inspirational. You'll love this CD.

Who We Are Instead Another work of art July 27th 2004 by Victoria in WI
The first week I owned this CD, positively nothing else went in my player for longer than ten minutes before "Who We Are Instead" went right back!
The album heads toward a great start with "Sunny Days": a happy energetic song that will make you want to burst out singing it in front of your friends, no matter what you'll sound like! It proceeds to please the ear with encouraging lyrics and Jars of Clay's familiar sounds that CCM fans have come to love throughout the years. From peppy "Sunny Days" to the encouraging "Faith Enough" right down to the simple but uplifting message in "Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet"...
It is a truly amazing work of art ...

Who We Are Instead Brilliant July 29th 2004 by in Brunei
This was my first album that I bought by this band and I really fell in love with their awesome style of music. It's really quite soothing;
combining that style of music with meaningful lyrics makes the outcome fantastic. I will surely continue buying their albums!

Jars of Clay New Appreciations August 1st 2004 by Clayton in Sandwich,IL
This was one of the first Christian cds that I ever bought. There were immediate favorites of mine like Flood and Liquid. I listened and enjoyed this cd for about a year. After I was somewhat through with it I began listening again and new things popped out in the lyrics that got me interested again. One of my favorite songs in the world is on this cd. Worlds Apart has come to be one of my favorite meditations and prayers of all songs. This cd is a great composition of strings and soft guitar and lyrics rarely found with such deep impact.

Jars of Clay On a scale of 1 to 5 . . . 10!!! August 18th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
The quintessential Christian accoustic rock album. Hands down. No doubt. Not very helpful??? Well, apart from the lyrical genius of such songs as "Worlds Apart" and "Liquid," there is the smash hit "Flood." Few songs hold up over time like "Flood" (the song "Jesus Freak" comes to mind, also), but it just seems to get better every time you hear it. Check out the alternate version of "Worlds Apart" on Jars of Clay's later "Furthermore" release . . . it is truly moving (even more so than the original version).

 |
Much Afraid Still hints of the JOC so loved in their debut . . . August 18th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
What happened? After the great accoustic rock debut release from Jars of Clay, their follow-up sophomore release "Much Afraid" seems to delve into something of a techno area. Why? I don't know. It isn't bad, with songs like "Portrait of an Apology" and "Crazy Times" headlining a solid release. But it isn't of the same caliber of their release. I don't believe anything that Jars of Clay produces will ever surpass their self-titled debut, but "Much Afraid" is a worthwhile look.
|
 |
If I Left the Zoo Where did Jars of Clay go? August 18th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
"Much Afraid" seemed to start the decline of Jars of Clay from original accoustic rock into artsy techno folk rock. "If I Left the Zoo" is the low point of that decline. "Sad Clown" and "Goodbye, Goodnight" just do not sound like the original Jars of Clay one bit. On the bright side, the song "No One Loves Me Like You" is an inspirational ballad in the vein of "Worlds Apart," "Hymn," and "Love Song for a Savior," all from previous releases. Not a bad buy, but check out other Clay CDs first.

 |
The Eleventh Hour A Return to Roots, of sorts August 18th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
While nothing they will ever do will probably match up with their wonderful self-titled debut, Jars of Clay seems to have hit a return to their roots with "The Eleventh Hour." With hauntingly beautiful tunes like "Something Beautiful" and pensive, slow rockers like "These Ordinary Days," Jars of Clay seems to have hit the notes that worked to well with earlier songs like "Flood," "Love Song for a Savior," and "Worlds Apart." The music is layered more than any previous Jars release, and the vocals more distinctly "Jars" by now. But any way you look at it, this is a superb album, which every Christian accoustic rock fan should own.

 |
Drummer Boy Short, but Sweet August 19th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
Short, but sweet. The accoustic mix of "He" alone is worth the low ticket price. But a great version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" helps to cap off the CD, along with the title track "Little Drummer Boy." The CD was originally sold to raise money for charity, and whether or not this is still the case, this is still a great Christmas album for anyone to buy . . . but a must-own for any Jars of Clay fan.
|
 |
Furthermore - Live: Recordings More, for sure August 19th 2004 by Anonymous in PA
Enjoyed Jars of Clay's earlier work? Than be sure to check this out. Not only does this CD contain studio mixes of early Jars classics, like an almost-coffee house mix of "Liquid" and a more wistful mix of "Love Song for a Savior," but great live versions of songs like "Worlds Apart" and "Flood." The big selling point with Furthermore, though, are the handful of new songs. Foremost among these new songs is "The Valley Song" – one of Jars' all-time best songs.

Who We Are Instead A very good CD August 28th 2004 by Jayne in Wisconsin
I was very pleased with this CD, as it represents an upbeat, artistic and uplifting theme that carries through the whole album.
"Sunny Days", "Sing", "My Heavenly", "Show You Love", and "Trouble Is" are some of the best songs on the album.
I definitely recommend this album.

Who We Are Instead jars of clay does it again September 2nd 2004 by phil in mn
Simply put, this cd is pretty awesome. There is alot of variety in the music and it sounds great. Unfortunately, nothing like the song Flood. They slowed it down a lil' bit I think. Buy it!

Who We Are Instead Good, but different September 4th 2004 by Bryan in USA
This CD is a very good CD, with songs you could sing along to every day. However, it is not the typical Jars of Clay CD, and doesn't seem to carry their style except in Show You Love and I'm In the Way. It is much different, but still a must have.
|
 |
Furthermore - Live: Recordings Great CD September 4th 2004 by Anonymous in IL
The first CD seemed bland, but the second CD was awesome! It carries most of their hits, and has some great live songs. If you're a Jars of Clay fan, don't buy this for the first CD, buy it for the second!

Much Afraid Brill October 3rd 2004 by Rachel in UK
I bought this album before I heard any of the bands stuff and was so impressed I continue to buy their albums when they come out - I still class this as the best jars of clay album and listen to this more than the later stuff - fade to grey and tea and sympathy are great tracks but it is hard to pick the best of this album- If you are going to listen to Jars of Clay this would be the album I would recommend you get first

Jars of Clay Their best work October 16th 2004 by Glenn in Okinawa, Japan
I think this album was the 2nd CD I ever bought.
From beginning to end, an amazing album. An absolutely great debut, and to date I still believe it to be their best work. Ten acoustic rock songs that are great to listen to (and jam to) again and again...
Listen out for: "Flood", "Boy On A String", "Love Song For A Savior" and "Blind"

Furthermore - Live: Recordings Great cd! November 3rd 2004 by Shannon in Phoenix, AZ
I really like this cd. I got it from a friend and was suprised to find out that I knew almost every single song, either from the radio or elsewhere. This is a great cd that combines all of Jars greatest hits into one package. I recommend this cd for any Jars fan as well as people who have just heard a couple of their songs. The best thing by far about this cd is the mix of the studio recorded and live recorded songs!
GREAT!

Jars of Clay excellent November 19th 2004 by Anonymous in CA
I remember buying this CD and wondering how these guys had put together such a masterpiece. Years later, I still feel the same way. Their lyrics are deep and meaningful, plus there is a nice balance between fast and slow songs. brilliant.

Much Afraid Pretty good November 19th 2004 by Anonymous in CA
I got this CD for my birthday, and really liked it...just not as much as the first Jars CD. It was cool, but the lyrics were a little vague at times. Still, they rocked out on "Crazy times" and "Fade to grey" has a nice beat. I recommend giving it a listen.
|
 |
If I Left the Zoo disappointing November 19th 2004 by Derek in CA
Their first CD was a masterpiece and their second CD was a decent follow-up...then the wheels came off. By and large, their lyrics have devolved into an unseemly brand of poetry and is undecipherable probably to the poet himself. Where are the clear spiritual messages? The sweet melodies? Anything? I am very diappointed that Jars has deviated from their proven skill of ministry-oriented music and lowered themselves to emo/pointless banality. There's nowhere to go but up after this album.

Jars of Clay Jars of Clay November 22nd 2004 by Heather in N. Charleston, SC
If every group has its classic, then this is it for JoC. It is arguably their best cd, with all-time favorites such as "Liquid," "Love Song For A Savior," "Flood," "Worlds Apart," well, really all of them are amazing...You just have to get it!

The Eleventh Hour 11th hour my 2nd fav November 22nd 2004 by Heather in N. Charleston, SC
While a lot of my friends did not particularly care for this album, I really enjoyed the more experienced sound that my Jars have come out with. Songs like "Scarlet" and "Revolution" really have a different sound than what I am used to. I enjoy the different flavor and can't wait to get some of their newer stuff.

 |
Furthermore - Live: Recordings 2 cd November 22nd 2004 by Heather in N. Charleston, SC
The Jars have outdone themselves again with this greatest hits of sorts. They have done what every amazing christian artist should do, put all of their best work onto one or two cds. This makes a great gift to get someone addicted to Jars, or a nice addition to your existing cd collection. A definite must have!!!

Furthermore - Live: Recordings Better than a "Greatest Hits" December 8th 2004 by Glenn in Okinawa, Japan
More than just a repackaging of previous hits, this double-disc set showcases Jars at their best - whether that's acoustic and intimate in the studio, or loud and live on stage.
Disc 1, "From The Studio" contains seven acoustic studio "re-versions" of your favourite Jars of Clay songs. There are also three brand new songs.
Disc 2, "From The Stage" showcases eleven live songs from their first four albums.
Great for an introduction to this amazing band, or as an addition to an almost-complete collection.
Listen out for:
Disc 1 - "The Eleventh Hour", "Dig" and "Love Song For A Savior"
Disc 2 - "Crazy Times", "The Eleventh Hour" and "Worlds Apart"

Jars of Clay Poetic Genius February 5th 2005 by Anonymous in Hawaii
Wow. What can I say? I was about 10 years old when this cd came out so I can't say I bought it when it was first released. Still, to this day, when I listen to it, it gets better and better. Music-wise, probably their second best after If I Left the Zoo. Lyrically, however, their best and perhaps the best cd lyrics I have heard within the Christian music scene. Get this cd for your collection if you don't have it yet.

11 Live: Jars of Clay in Concert Awesome Jars DVD February 13th 2005 by Anonymous in Ohio
This is the first concert DVD that Jars of Clay has ever released. I was really excited when I first heard about this DVD because I had seen Jars of Clay on the Eleventh Hour Tour and they were amazing! I couldn't wait to see what songs they would put on the concert DVD. They picked great tracks from many of their albums, including Love Song For A Savior, one of my favorite Jars songs!
All Jars of Clay fans should buy this DVD!

Much Afraid Tea & Sympathy ... February 13th 2005 by Anonymous in
I remember seeing Jars of Clay for the first time in 1997, and I remember them playing this one song, I could only make out the words "Tea & ....". I didn't know the lyrics, but I thought the music & the melodies were beautiful! Once I bought the Much Afraid album, I realized immediately that the song was "Tea & Sympathy", and it became my favorite Jars song of all time. The album may have good songs like Crazy Times and Fade To Grey, but no other song really compares to Tea and Sympathy.

If I Left the Zoo Moving in a new direction ... February 13th 2005 by Anonymous in
Jars of Clay moves into a new musical direction with "If I Left The Zoo", their third studio album. There are some really great tracks on this album with a lot of spiritual meaning (Grace, Can't Erase It, Unforgetful You), love (No One Loves Me Like You, Hand), plus songs to just plain rock out to (Collide, I'm Alright).
Jars of Clay always writes deep, thoughtful lyrics - sometimes you need to listen to the album closely in order to catch the meaning behind them.

Jars of Clay Cool CD March 1st 2005 by Michael in Tallahassee
A classic for any true Jars of Clay fan. You've probably heard the radio hits a million times, but even better are the songs like "Worlds Apart." Definitely recommend!

 |
Much Afraid Amazing!!! March 1st 2005 by Michael in Tallahassee
In my opinion, this CD is the perfection of the style started with Jars' self-titled freshman release. The entire CD maintains a very contemplative atmosphere, despite the inclusion of electric instruments. Songs like "Frail" and "Weighed Down" really can't be topped! Without doubt my favorite Jars of Clay CD from this era in their music making history.

The Eleventh Hour So good! March 4th 2005 by in San Antonio

Redemption Songs jars is incredible March 22nd 2005 by Jessica in TN
Jars of Clay is a very dynamic band. Anyone who likes a bit of every style of music should try them. Jars incorporates a bit of rock, pop, bluegrass, and folk into their music. Also, all of their records have wonderful messages . . . .as do their actions in humanitarian work. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Jars and I encourage everyone to check them out. I belive they are the most influential and crucial bands for Christian music.

Redemption Songs New life for ancient hymns. March 23rd 2005 by tim in
Jars of Clay has crafted a refreshing, one of a kind project, with Redemption Songs, a collection of reinvented ancient hymns and spiritual songs. This will certainly prove to be one of Jars' most lasting pieces of work. From the moment it begins to the final note, they lead us along a wonderful journey through past hymn lyrics and infuse them with a sound relevant to today's listeners, breathing new life to these ancient treasures. Do not let this album pass you by! It is unlike anything in modern music today. Considering the piles of worship projects being produced each year, this one stands out as unique, original, musically and lyrically rich. Jars of Clay is a band who continues to astound me with their thoughtful projects...they keep getting better and better.

Redemption Songs all of their work! i have them all March 23rd 2005 by MICHELE in concord north carolina
i always look foward to anything new they have. i even have both the cd's of city on the hill. their songs remind me of my faith and keep me believing or at least renew it. they write from the heart of matters that we can all understand and have experienced. playling their songs put me in such a uplifting mood or when i need a good cry or remind me that i'm human and make mistakes. i remember their first song and knew exactly what was about, flood, even though they played it on a rock station, i knew better of the impact it made because of the words. the first time i heard it i cried; this was when realized that it was a christian song. i sang rock for many years and blues, now i'm a nurse. i recomend their music to any one of all age groups, regardless of what they usually listen to. thanks guys

Redemption Songs A New Twist to the Same Old Jars March 27th 2005 by Anonymous in McMinnville, OR
You can hear the passion Jars of Clay has for Hymns during this album. Musicially, Jars goes as deep as they evey have to give their own folk-rock flavor to songs out of the oldest church hymnals around. The partnership with the Blind Boys of Alabama on a couple songs is really awesome.

Furthermore - Live: Recordings Furthermore April 6th 2005 by Maria in Washington
The first time I heard this album, I thought it was great. I loved it! The second time, when I sat down and really listened to the words, my heart stopped. As I listened to number 3 on the studio disk, I wept like a child. The words grabbed at my soul and pulled at every string in my heart. This album is amazing and I would recomend it to anyone and everyone!

Furthermore - Live: Recordings Fantastic Remakes! May 3rd 2005 by Anonymous in Sacramento
If you love Jars of Clay's sound and especially love their first album you are sure to love this album. Both discs have amazing acoustic guitar and some songs that were originally performed fast, they have slowed down. This album, to me, is like a brand new album because the songs are done differently but in a good way. My favorite disc is the Live one. Great, great, great! Even if you haven't been so ecstatic about their other albums, you are sure to love this if you like acoustic and loved their first album!

Who We Are Instead Remarkable June 2nd 2005 by Dawson in Medicine Hat, AB, Canada
This album portrays soulful elegance in its entirety. Soothing-yet-penetrating lyrics captivate the mind and soul, and perfect instrumentation and rhythmic balance combine to unify the work while maintaining distinctiveness between tracks. Who We Are Instead is a superb depiction of the God-given talent manifest in Dan Haseltine and every life invested in Jars Of Clay. Their hearts long for God throughout the album, granting sincerity to every word sung. A genuine inspiration, this album is highly recommended by me for anyone looking for a splendid musical journey for the spirit that is absolutely worth taking.

Who We Are Instead Jars has created a thoughtful, rich album. June 9th 2005 by tim in Canada
With its mix of Country-Blues-Pop-Rock-Gospel, Jars pulls off one of the most innovative and incredible albums to date. There is so much in this record that one listen simply will not suffice. After repeated listens, not only do you discover the depth of this album, but it gets better and better. Amazing!

Redemption Songs A Masterpiece June 13th 2005 by Brian in Tampa
Let me confess that I'm not impartial - I've loved just about everything Jars has done since "Flood." However, this project of traditional hymns seemed a real departure. Having listened, it has just deepened my feeling that Jars is the most musically sophisticated and risk-taking band on the Christian music scene. Every track on this CD is solid!

Redemption Songs Redemption songs June 14th 2005 by David in South Africa
Jars of clay have bucked the usual trend of Christian Artists trying to become more popular with the world. They were big to start off but with each new album they become more and more focused on worship and on Jesus. This new album is a collection of old hymns given a Jars of Clay twist with a little help from a few friends and it comes together really well. Pick it up now! Personal picks: God will lift up your head, Nothing but the blood and Let us love and sing and wonder.

Furthermore - Live: Recordings For as much as I love Jars... June 25th 2005 by Lindsay in Boston
Now, in general, I adore Jars of Clay. They're simply awesome. Maybe I'm just addicted to the original versions or something, but I don't really like the "From the Studio" part. Even though I don't generally like live recordings, I prefer the ones from the stage if for no other reason than that they actually sound like the Jars of Clay songs I know and love.
|
 |
The Eleventh Hour My Personal Favorite June 25th 2005 by Lindsay in Boston
I love Jars of Clay and consider myself an avid listener of theirs, but I give this CD my personal "A++ Gold Star" rating. It speaks to my heart in a way other CDs have yet to even approach. Kudos to them for this recording.

Redemption Songs Jars of Clay Redemption Songs - back to their roots! July 20th 2005 by Jill in
I thought this was a good cd. It is different from their past albums. I think it is in a good way, due to that this has more of a Godly feel. They did the hymms well. They seemed to be back to the roots of their Christianity, and I liked it!

Who We Are Instead masterful July 29th 2005 by Anonymous in NY
This is one of jars of clay's best. Both slow and fast songs are mesmorizing. Their melodies are impecible and the wonderful message they portray never falters. Great christian, thought-provoking songs, smooth harmonies... what more can you want?

Furthermore - Live: Recordings Nice July 29th 2005 by Anonymous in NY
I was very pleased when I listened to both CDs. The acoustic disc gave their old songs a new face. I listened to it about three times before I was satisfied that I had picked up on the variations - very nicely done. The concert disc, as all concert discs usually are, was great! It's always nice to hear the roar of the crowd, the crowd singing and crowd chanting - especially if you've been to a concert, this is an instant walk down memory lane.

Drummer Boy incredible July 29th 2005 by Anonymous in NY
This CD is wonderful although it was released twice. I personally prefer the original releasing which instead of "Little Drummer Boy" (Grinch mix) and "Blind" (Fluffy Sav mix) it had "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "He" (Acoustic). If you can I suggest you get the first release but I will comment on both.
Both CDs have the extraordinary rendition of "The Little Drummer Boy" and a great instrumental "Wicker Baskets". I enjoy both songs immensely. "The Little Drummer Boy" is just done beautifully by Jars of Clay. It is awe-inspiring. The vocals are really superb and the music is incredible. "Wicker Baskets" is also a nice soothing song of reflection.
Regarding this CD's songs, the remix of "Drummer Boy" is good as well. I enjoyed the original more but the remix does add some "spice" to the song with some great effects. I personally didn't like the "Blind" remix too much though. It isn't all bad but it didn't seem like it belonged on the CD.
Now the original release of this CD had an excellent version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" on it. The song had exceptional guitar work on it. Then there is the song that I think is the best out of both releases. "He" (acoustic) is just beautiful. It sounds magnificent and is very emotional and touching. Both releases are great and should be added to your personal CD library but if you can try and get the first release. I personally own both and enjoy them both very much.

Much Afraid Jars of Clay are cool July 29th 2005 by Anonymous in NY
This was one of the first Jars of Clay CDs I had the pleasure of listening to after I became a fan of the band a few months ago. They are truly amazing, and despite the critics and such, I think they did pretty well with "Much Afraid." It's not only a statement concerning the Christian faith in general, it's a very personal reflection on the band's feelings about reaching out to a secular world with a message of faith and hope. From what Jars has said in interviews they were very "much afraid" to make a follow up to their smash hit self-titled debut because they were mocked by the secular music audience for being too preachy and then scorned by the Christian audience for not being preachy enough...so through rough times, bouts of depression and a passion for Jesus Christ, Jars of Clay wrote some of the most honest, spiritual, poetic and overall some of the best music i've heard from them yet on "Much Afraid." The stand out tracks (in my opinion) are "Crazy Times" which is a painful reminder of the reality of heartache, "Tea and Sympathy" a great observation of a self-serving society, "Frail" a beautiful depiction of humility and "Truce" which is the most eccentric song on the album. Most have blamed the band's third album "If I Left the Zoo" for being the moodiest and the darkest album they've released. However, "Much Afraid" perfectly encompasses a season of despair and confusion, while still reminding us to keep faith. Great music with a powerful message...

Redemption Songs I Love It! August 2nd 2005 by Zach in Point Lookout, MO
This CD is great! I have always liked Jars Of Clay, and this album was not a disapointment. God Be Merciful To Me, I'll Fly Away, and They'll Know We Are Christians By Our Love are a few of my favorite songs on this disc. Most of the songs aren't changed so much that you can't quickly pick it up and sing along, but they all sound fresh and new.

I remember most of these song from church growing up. The upbeat music was outstanding, I expecially liked I Need The Every Hour, Nothing But the Blood and It Is Well With My Soul. I'm looking forward to their version on Accompanyment.

Who We Are Instead best yet September 1st 2005 by jhoana in Laguna,Philippines
Some fans might think Jars have gone country, different from the Jars we used to love. That might be true but I could care less, I think this album is their best yet! There is so much depth in every song, the powerful lyrics dealing with the issues of the soul that can only come from the deepest parts of the sincere songwriter's heart. Of course it doesn't hurt either that these guys are four of the finest, most innovative musicians!

Redemption Songs My favorite so far! September 7th 2005 by in
I love, I repeat, absolutely love the back-to-the-roots sound of this cd. I was raised on bluegrass gospel, and while this is by no means the same as bluegrass gospel, it is the perfect mix of old hymns, acoustic sound and amazing vocals. I love the undertone of banjo (as always) and I love the way they redid the old hymns, without going overboard and making them totally unrecognizable. My 2 year old loves "I'll Fly Away"! I love them all!

Redemption Songs Great CD September 11th 2005 by Melissa in
I bought the CD before they came to Rapid City for Hills Alive so I could better get to know their music. I fell in love with their uplifting message and the CD hardly ever leaves my CD player now.

This album has been really encouraging. The song "Boy on a String" and " "Flood" have touched my heart and dear to me. One song brings a tear to my eye everytime.

Redemption Songs Great remaking of old favorites October 31st 2005 by Laura in Reno
What a refreshing twist on the hymns we grew up singing in church! You already know the words!! It is so fun to sing along with and somehow putting a new tune to a song you know so well brings the meaning behind the lyrics back to the surface.

Redemption Songs Any Time, Anywhere November 17th 2005 by Jared in Monroe, MI
These guys have always been great, and this time around is no different, except that this one you can sing along with right out of the box! Familiar songs like "Ill Fly Away" and "Theyll Know We Are Christians", you cant help but join in, and "God Will Lift Up Your Head" and "Nothing But the Blood" will have you bouncing in your car seat or jumping in your living room. A really great shot to the heart for those who need some uplifting or rejuvenating.

If I Left the Zoo good album March 4th 2006 by Anonymous in xela
their guitar-leaden rock style has made Jars of Clay one of a kind band. The sound that the band develops in this album parhaps is a little diferrent, but is still good. I like the songs: "No one loves me like You" and "unforgettable You".
