I was very impressed with this product. Having the multiple key and background vocal options was a real plus. My family plays praise and worship songs, so when I heard this song, I knew I had to have it; however, it was too hard for me to program the music on the keyboard and play the guitar for it as I'm the only one who plays instruments - so when I saw this accompaniment CD - my prayers were answered. A great song for singing to or just listening.

This CD has a lot of meaning. The theme is that no matter where you are, Jesus will still be there. My favorite track on this CD is Blue Skies which is also on 24. Begin with Me is also a favorite, which asks Jesus to turn our lives upsidedown.
I highly recommend this CD to anyone!

Many times we buy Christmas albums because we love listening to our favorite groups perform the old, familiar Christmas standards- and we skip the new, original tunes.... If you ever do that- DON'T skip a song on this album! Every song is a challenge to remember Who and What Christmas is really about! When I really want to celebrate the Birth of Jesus- I listen to this album (and yes.... I play this year-round...) :o)
My favorites are "One King" and "Light of the World".

This is without a doubt their very best. Every single song on here is wonderful, with great vocals, pretty tunes and great lyrics. There are a lot of really encouraging songs will probably speak directly to you, like they did to me. I know the first time I heard "La La La", it moved me to tears, as did "Blue Skies".
A couple years ago I heard "Something So Good", which is an upbeat song with a catchy tune, and I absolutely loved it and wanted to hear more. A short while later I was a complete fan and had all the POG cds.
If you haven't heard Point of Grace before, listen to this cd!

Point of Grace does a really nice job of all these traditional Christmas songs. "When Love Came Down" is an absolutely beautiful song that you probably haven't heard before. I also love the way they sang my favorite Christmas song "O Holy Night".
This is one cd that thrills you with the spirit of Christmas.
Definately 5 stars.

This is my second favorite album of POGs, after Free to Fly. I love "Wonder Of It All" and "The Song Is Alive". "Steady On" is also a good one.

I'm not a huge Point of Grace fan, but this album is top-notch! This has got to be their best album so far. There's a nice mix of songs and the girls do an excellent job on every one of them. They sing some classics with their own Point of Grace twist, and have some new songs as well to help us remember what is important during this season: reaching out to others in need and remembering the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
All in all, this is a great CD!

disappointed at best. songs are weak. "I choose you" will be a hit and "the arm band" was cool. but this cd falls short of there other 8 cd's they have out.and it's over before you know it much like an anne murray cd

I always listen to it when I want to get into the Christmas spirit. I especially like their original songs like "When Love Came Down" and "Not That Far From Bethlehem."

I got this CD about 10 years ago and it remains one of my favourites. These womens' vocal talent is astounding. They harmonize so it is fun to sing along. Their lyrics are honest and they sing about issues that I face and I'm sure other do too. I can worship right along with them when I'm listening.

Point of Grace has delivered some outstanding singles that have changed lives, like "Keep the Candle Burning," "Steady On," and "You Will Never Walk Alone." After waiting three years for a new studio album, I was disappointed in "I Choose You." There are only 3 good tracks on the entire album, "I Choose You," "Waiting in the Wings," and "For All You've Done." Everything else is just blah. For example, the song "Worthles" is worthless to listen to.
The reading of "Pilgrim's Progress" is different, but I like the idea.
I hope the next studio is better.

Point of Grace continues their string of great albums with "I Choose You". Their current single "I Choose You" is a bit slower than I expected from them but it's still a great song and will probably end up being their 26th straight number 1. My personal favorite is "Down", an upbeat song that really gets you toe tapping. If you're an existing POG fan, you can rest assured that you'll love the album as much as previous albums. If you're new to Point Of Grace, I'd recommend buying this album and if you like what you hear, buy their double album "24" which consists of their 24 straight number 1's and a bonus song "Day by Day" which went on to be their 25th consecutive number 1 hit.

I love this cd. It is very good to listen to if you are feeling sad or discouraged. It talks mostly about God's everlasting love. The song "Blue Skies" is the perfect example. "Begin With Me" is also a very good song because it really gets you thinking "Do I realize my faults or just look at other people's" the song "He sends His Love" is a very good song to listen to when you don't understand what is going on in your life. Way to go, POG!

Beginning with a very brief (and barely recognizable) cover of Joy to the world, Carl Marsh's complex and dramatic orchestral arrangements are the distinctive feature of this album. This orchestra is not lush - it rocks. The beautiful harmonies of the four ladies (Denise, Shelley, Heather and Terry) are sometimes near to being drowned out by the orchestra, yet somehow they never are.
Their harmonies combine with the orchestra to best effect on the old classics, which sound fresh and vibrant in such a setting. However many versions you've heard of Angels we have heard on high, Let it snow let it snow let it snow, Sleigh ride, Carol of the bells, What child is this, O holy night, O come O come Emmanuel, Santa Claus is coming to town, Jingle bells and Coventry carol, Point of Grace and their orchestra are different, even where (as on O holy night), the orchestra is restrained - this merely heightens the effect of the orchestra on the other tracks.
There are five original songs, all of which are magnificent, for which lyrics are provided in the accompanying booklet. One other song, How great our joy, was new to me when I bought this. I haven't heard it anywhere else but it's a great song.
If you are looking for a traditional Christmas album, look elsewhere - but if you are looking for something modern and distinctive, this may interest you.

I am sure it will be absolutely beautiful just like all their other CD"s.
They are a great group and I admire them a lot. I have loved their music since I started listening to music and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a down- to- earth, securely grounded in Christ group.

I was a little apprehensive to listen to this CD... I have been a fan of POG ever since they came to my church in 1993. They were fresh out of college, and I was fresh out of high school. It has been awesome to watch them grow personally as well as musically throughout the years. With the departure of Terry Jones, and her replacement by Leigh Cappillino, I wasn't sure if I would still like the sounds of POG. This album was a pleasant surprise. The girls have an edgier sound, and it works in their favor. I can't pin down one song on here as my favorite, but I do love track number two - Down - and track number nine - Waiting in the Wings - always get played more than once in my car!

In my humble opinion, this record is flawless! Everything about it is perfect, from the harmonies of the girls to the instrumentation of the orchestra. Their versions of the timeless Christmas classics we all know are incredible, nothing to be ashamed about. The songs written for this record hold their own, too. "Not That Far From Bethlehem" is exquisite!
