Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Of course, Starflyer 59 with their upteenth cd is still running strong. This is one of their best, maybe not their best, but one of their better ones. Far better than recent ones but of course if you are a fan of SF59 then you'll like this cd. If you never heard of SF59 I would recommend another cd than this one. I don't have all their albums but I'm sure this is one will be in my cd player for a while.

I love Starflyer 59, the most underappreciated and underplayed band in the world. This is not their best, especially when brought side to side with some of their other releases but nevertheless it is good because it is Starflyer. Believe me, they are the only band I constantly listen to without being bored to tears.

This cd isn't like most christian music. It's one of the few classic rock christian bands. I esspecially love the song Teens In Love. They have great guitars, that's my favorite part about this band.

Silver

The album that started it all for me. Starflyer 59 found great success with this album touring with The Prayer Chain (where I saw them in Morgantown, WV). The Zenith and 2nd Space Song ("I love your ways...") are my favorite tracks. SF59 completed this style with La Vanquier and Gold before taking their Black Sabbath-style into Americana. This Silver album is more dreamy and atmospheric. A must have for any SF59 collection.
