Wire #1 July 15th 2004 by Anonymous in Santa Barbara
Third Day, I would have to say is my favorite Christian band. I can't stop listening to them. The leader singers voice is so unique.
There music is so much about Faith, Love, and just having a love for the Lord.

Wire A bit shaky on this wire July 15th 2004 by Brent in
First things first. Third Day is one of the bext Christian groups around. They have a strong sound, fantastic vocals and excellent writing. Wire just doesn't seem to live up to their potential. There are a few songs that after listening a few times you'll enjoy, but nothing that would make it to a 'best of' album. If I didn't know what they were capable of I'd give this album a 4, but if you're new to Third Day, try one of their other albums. If you're a Third Day fan, then I'm sure you already have the album or have made your mind to get it, so what can I say?

Wire Classic Third Day Sound July 15th 2004 by Phillip in San Antonio
Personally I don't think that this is the best album that Third Day has ever put together. Following the Come Together album was going to be hard by any standard, but you cannot get away from the fact that this album is pure Third Day. Mixing their classic southern rock style sound with the deep lyrics that have come to define Third Day, this album still seems to have that feel that one might expect from Third Day.

Come Together Pretty good little cd July 16th 2004 by Eric in Texas
This cd doesn't occupy too much of my cd player's time, but I still love to listen to it. It's got that always good Third Day sound to it, and is very well made. I'd recommend it any day.

Time Incredible July 16th 2004 by Eric in Texas
This was probably the first Third Day cd I heard and also probably the best Third Day cd I've heard, to date. I've Always Loved You and Believe are some of my favorites on this album. So Good.

Offerings: A Worship Album Absolutely Incredible CD July 16th 2004 by Eric in Texas
This CD makes me want to sing for days. Such a good CD. These are some great praise and worship songs, that can be sung along to in your car, or with a group. If you're doin a Bible Study, wanna throw some music into it, but don't have any musicians, this CD fits the bill perfectly.

Wire Good, but not the best July 16th 2004 by Matthew in GA
This album is a self-proclaimed "return to Third Day's southern rock and Americana roots." It definitely has a more rock approach than their Offerings albums and even more so than Come Together. Personally, I prefer more of Third Day's worship music such as in their Offerings albums, and I was hoping this would have more of a worship style to it. It's classic Third Day, though, and would be something that any Third Day lover should get.

Come Together One Of Third Days Best July 16th 2004 by Phillip in San Antonio
Third Day takes the momentum from their Offerings Experience cd and just keeps on going with the Come Together album. With their great southern rock sound and Mac's great Georgian vocals Third Day has put together one of their best albums to date. You get a few different sounds in this cd. You get the southern rock style that has come to define Third Day in songs like "Come Together", "40 Days", and "Get On". To top it off you also get a few worship songs like "Show Me Your Glory", and "Nothing Compares". This is a must own for Third Day fans.

Third Day - New Edition First Album July 16th 2004 by Phillip in San Antonio
This was the first cd I ever owned. An old school disk with the classic Third Day sound, this cd includes the ever present classic Consuming Fire and the awsome story song Thief. This cd sounds just like you might expect for a freshman release, but it is still a great Third Day album.

Third Day - New Edition PUT THIRD DAY ON THE MAP! July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
Third Day's debut CD is an amazing one that combines their rather unique Southern Rock style with Mac Powell's soothingly resonating vocals and lyrics that come right at you to showcase their unbreaking faith in Jesus Christ.
This is a very inspirational and enjoyable album with eternal hits such as: Love Song, Consuming Fire, and Thief - and other good ones such as Blackbird. There are many other good ones on there too!
This is a must have for any Third Day or Christian music fan!

Conspiracy #5 VERY UNDERRATED CD! July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
This CD is Third Day's most all out rockin' CD to date and it is one of their best. They do an awesome job piecing together their musical talent with Mac Powell's awesome voice to create 13 great songs that you can just listen to over and over.
This is one of those rare CD's you can just put in and let it play - it's really that good! There are several great rock songs, such as: Peace, You Make Me Mad, Alien, Have Mercy, More To This, and Give Me A Reason. Also, there are several powerful and beautiful songs, such as: I Deserve? (one of Third Day's best songs in my opinion), Who I Am, and the beautiful "Your Love Endures."
Pick this CD up if you like Christian Rock or any type of Christian music. It's a great one!

Time THIRD DAY July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
This is Third Day at their best - mixing that Southern Rock with Mac Powell's voice to bring out exciting Christian Rock that creates an amazing sense of excitement in having faith in Christ.
They have some beautiful songs in "I've Always Loved You," "Your Love Oh Lord," "Can't Take The Pain," and "Give." They also know how to rock hard with the awesome songs "Believe," "Took My Place," "Never Bow Down" (one of my favorite Third Day songs), and "Sky Falls Down."
This is a must have for any Christian Rock or Third Day fan. I believe almost anyone will find something they absolutely love on this album - so check it out!

Offerings: A Worship Album THE ULTIMATE WORSHIP CD! July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
This album is so amazingly popular that there isn't much to even say about it. Every song is very touching and just amazing worship stuff. You can listen to this CD over and over because there is so much variety and so much there to offer up to our Lord and Savior.
If you don't already have this CD, please pick it up - you'll be so glad you did. Every song on it has a little bit different style and almost anyone can find their favorite style to worship to on this album!

 |
Come Together AWESOME VARIETY! GREAT SOUND! July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
This is one of Third Day's best CD's with something for everyone. They keep up their tradition of awesome lyrics, powerful rocking music, and great vocals from Mac Powell to create 12 wonderful songs.
They've got great rock in: Come Together, 40 Days, Get On, My Heart, Still Listening, and I Got You. They've also got beautiful worship on: Show Me Your Glory, When The Rain Comes, Sing Praises, and Nothing Compares.
This album flows wonderfully and has the best pacing and variety from Third Day to date. It's got something for everyone!

Offerings II: All I Have to Give; A Worship Album GREAT CD! July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
Third Day does it again with another wonderful worship album! They've got some great worship on here with almost every song. "God of Wonders" sounds awesome on this CD along with live favorites: Show Me Your Glory and Nothing Compares. Also, there is some new studio stuff that is wonderful in: Sing A Song, You Are So Good To Me, and the EXCEPTIONAL "May Your Wonders Never Cease." This is a roller-coaster of a worship experience that starts our slow, gets into an awesome fast-paced guitar driven solo, and then brings you back to the beautiful intro.
All in all - this is an exceptional album that will leave you praising God all day long. Check it out!

Wire BEST THIRD DAY YET!!! July 19th 2004 by in Boonville, IN
Third Day goes back to their roots of good ol' Southern Rock-n-Roll with Wire, which is in my opinion, their best CD yet.
They rock hard on this album with: 'Til The Day I Die, Come On Back To Me, Rockstar, I Believe, I Got A Feeling, and Billy Brown. Keep in mind, though, every one of these songs focuses on their uncomprimising faith in Jesus Christ and the importance of His love and grace, and the emulate the commitment we should have for him. They also have some beautiful tracks with the same awesome faith-based lyrics in: Wire, It's A Shame, Blind, and I Will Hold My Head High.
These guys just keep getting better and better. Check this album out! It's incredible

Wire Interesting... July 20th 2004 by Anonymous in New York
Not what I was expecting, but it grows on you. One of my favorite songs on the cd is "rockstar" because of the fun beat and the true to life lyrics. This cd is on that will definitely put you in a good mood.

Wire Different Third Day July 21st 2004 by Kimi in USA
The Wire release really gives Third Day a sound that we have not heard from them for a while. Its sort of rock/folk/ and little twang of Southern and country in there. Its different but DEFINITELY a GREAT album. Their songs are powerful (as expected), music orginal and over all a very very awesome CD. Whether your into the above mentioned types of music or not, most people will love this CD. A definite must for music lovers.

Third Day Live in Concert - The Come Together Tour Third Day Live July 26th 2004 by Cheryl in Alice Springs
A brilliant live compilation from this inspiring group. I was amazed at the professionalism exhibited during the concert as well as the humor the band shows toward themselves during the bonus features. The DVD/Video displays a true yearning for the Lord, and ability for each member of the band to truly offer his soul and talent to the Lord as well as to be able to bring their music into a secular arena. This concert touches the heart with honest worship as well as excites the live rock concert fan with all the features expected of a rock group! I highly recommend this DVD/Video to all Third Day fans as well as those who are still discovering the amazing talent of this group.

Offerings: A Worship Album Brings tears to your eyes August 3rd 2004 by Brad in Canada
Although Third Day's music is usually up beat and fun, songs on this album, such as "Thief" and "Love Song" will move you, and touch your heart. This CD has it all. The fast, fun songs. And the deep inspiring songs.

Offerings: A Worship Album Show me Your glory August 5th 2004 by Anonymous in
Third Day has changed my perception on worship. They truly have shown me God's glory (a great song by the way). Every time I hear these songs and sing along I feel even closer to the Father.

Wire Not a bad song on this album August 6th 2004 by in New York
I bought this CD basically because I wanted a new CD and this was the best option at the time. I wasn't expecting a ton, but after listening to it a few times I realized it was one of the best albums I owned!! There's not a single song I don't like, and I listened to it for weeks before I even bothered listening to anything else at all. It is great!!!

Wire Pure Third Day... August 6th 2004 by in Ohio
This album delivers everything that the Band promised it would, a return to the roots of 3D, Southern Rock combined with a love for Jesus and People that reflects itself off of every song.
The LP gets off to a good start with "'Til the Day I Die", a rock song expressing simple adoration and praise for our Lord. The Title Track, "Wire", tells the story of every Christian who is called to share a gift that requires performing that talent in front of others (whether it be music, comedy, acting, etc).
"Turn on the spotlight, strike up the band
Everyone's looking my way They came to see the excitement firsthand
And hear all that I've got to say
Oh, it makes me wonder What if I slip, will they catch me
Or watch me fall?
I am walking on a wire
I tiptoe in through the fire"
Perhaps the most solid hit of the album is "I Believe", a simple song which, as of the writing of the review, was just starting to get some airtime on secular radio stations as well as Christian stations.
"believe" simply tells the listener what us Christians are living for and how we want others to see the love of God.
With some songs that raise questions to the exact meaning "San Angelo", "Billy Brown", etc. This may not be the best Ever Third Day Studio Release, but be assured, If you are a 3D fan then this album is definitely for you, and is worth owning for any Contemporary Rock fan.

Offerings: A Worship Album The only thing to beat it is the LIVE version August 8th 2004 by Avery in Florida
As usual, Third Day produced another musically enjoyable, spiritually potent project. Saw the Offerings tour concert twice, and loved it both times. This CD gets a lot of play at our house.
Third Day has a Black Crowes kind of style, with better lyrics. If you don't have this CD, get it!

Wire Third Day - Wire August 9th 2004 by Steve in Milford, NH
This album is their best ever! The first time I listened to it I was blown away at how much Third Day has refined their sound over the years. They just keep getting better. This is by far the most listenable work they have done yet, and it really rocks! I especially like "I got a Feeling", I think they should play it on mainstream radio. It might help Mac and the guys bring their message to the masses. The entire album is a treat to listen to.

Wire Great August 10th 2004 by Austin in USA
Not the praise sound you got used to from their last few albums. This is more of rock, for kids or even their parents.

Wire High August 11th 2004 by Anonymous in Nebraska
My first-hand experience, I can tell you that Third Day rocks in concert, and I saw them in an outdoor venue in the middle of rural America. Their songs are awesome both in content and delivery. 'Wire' is one of the best albums of the year and the song "I Believe" is an absolutely great song. Highly recommended!!

Wire Rockstars!!! August 12th 2004 by Anonymous in USA
Third Day was the first Christian group that I saw in concert, which rocked! Since then I have seen them a number of times. Wire, I believe, turned out to be just as strong, annointed and powerful as any other CD that they have made. Third Day truely have hearts for God...they are a great group. This album has a great collection of songs.

 |
Offerings: A Worship Album Worship from the Heart August 12th 2004 by Anonymous in Texas
This album has some awesome worship songs. Third Day took this album, slowed it down a notch and produced worship songs that can make you hit your needs and cry out to God. "Love Song" is my favorite on the album.
This album was truely made for those who love good worship music. I believe everyone should own this album.

Live in Concert: The Offerings Experience Worth its weight in gold August 13th 2004 by David in New Zealand
This is Third's Day at their most stunning. Definitely worth its weight in gold, and definitely for the avid Gomer. Third Day continue to keep it real with this DVD, as they continue to stay focused on worshipping God to their hearts content. If you want to get carried away with worship and the songs of Third Day, this is one not to be missed.

Wire Wire Review August 28th 2004 by in Grand Rapids
I feel that this is Third Day at their best. They have brought an edge to their rock sound with Come on Back to Me and Rock Star. They also have deep personal lyrical songs like Wire and It's a Shame and Blind. A must buy for any Christian rock song.

 |
Conspiracy #5 Could not agree moren with the above! August 29th 2004 by Matthew in USA
Well my friend upstairs has put it simply. This isn't just a good one, it's the best album. In my personal opinion their new album is cheesier; not as well thought out version of this album.
If your into good old rock n roll by it. The production is good and the songs are great lyricly and musically.
An awesome CD!

Wire good CD August 31st 2004 by Anonymous in MO
This band does a great job of creating some good songs for its fans. They did a great a job live a few weeks ago and got me hooked. My favorite songs are "Til The Day I Die" and "Come On Back To Me". "Come On Back To Me" showed me that God is consistently calling people back to Him. No matter where you've been, He wants you to come back to Him.

 |
Wire This CD Rocks! August 31st 2004 by in North Carolina
This Cd is classic Third Day! As a Third Day fan from the beginning, I really like that the band has gotten back to its Southern Rock roots. Awesome guitar, amazing lyrics and Mac Powell's voice - a winning combination. You won't be sorry if you buy this one!

 |
Offerings II: All I Have to Give; A Worship Album Another Worshipful Experience August 31st 2004 by in NC
I like this Third Day effort even better than Offerings I! If you've never been to a 3D show, the live cuts from this CD "Creed" "Show Me Your Glory" "Nothing Compares" "God of Wonders" are classic Third Day. Even though they have a Southern Rock sound, this is definitely a worship experience like no other. You can't miss if you get this one!

Wire NEW FAN September 2nd 2004 by jason in KY
I didn't really like Third Day until I saw them in concert in April of this year (Ichthus 2004) and I heard new songs from the album and I must say Third Day... rocks. Every song on this album tells a great story and reminds me of all that God has done in my life and will continue to do "til the day I die" and even in heaven.
|
 |
Wire Pretty good September 4th 2004 by Anonymous in IL
My favorite track on this album is probably Billy Brown. I believe, one of their radio hits, is also a great song. I haven't listened to much of their older albums, but this one was relatively good.

 |
Wire Wonderful to listen to! September 8th 2004 by Anonymous in Tennessee
This is, by far, the best Third Day CD yet! All of the songs are very inspirational, but aren't too slow! They are rocky and fast-paced. The song, "Come on Back to Me," is my favorite! At times, we all are faced with something that draws us away from God. This song is from God's point of view telling us to come on back to Him.
|
 |
Wire Highly recommended September 9th 2004 by Glenn in Okinawa, Japan
This is a great album, bringing back the rock'n'roll sound of Third Day's earlier albums. My favorite Third Day CD is "Time", and this collection of awesome songs feels to me like "Time #2". Mac Powell's lyrics and vocals are inspiring (I Believe, I Got A Feeling), reassuring (Come On Back To Me), worshipful ('Til The Day I Die, You Are Mine), and as always, the band is rockin'! My personal favorite songs off this album are 'Til The Day I Die (a great rocker to kick-start the CD), You Are Mine and Come On Back To Me.
Hope this review helps - I highly recommend this album.

Wire Third Day keeps getting better September 13th 2004 by Tim in Gresham, OR
After seeing Third Day in concert perform some of the songs off Wire, I had to go out and buy the album. Hit after hit on the radio, these songs speak a message of God's love and living a daily Christian walk. Third Day fans are blessed because they have a band that knows how to continually create awesome music.

Wire more third day... September 14th 2004 by Anonymous in North Dakota
Ok...so this is the second third day CD I have ever owned and I didn't listen to the first one I got very much. This one I have. I went on a trip and listened to it multiple times in the car. I think it's a great CD, but I have heard better songs from Third Day before. Still, I recommend this to any loyal Third Day fan.

Wire First but not the last September 18th 2004 by Mic in Taji, Iraq
I usually wouldn't have bought a Third Day CD, they just never appealed to my taste. But I was redeploying to the States from Iraq and I needed a CD to listen to on the plane. I was totally blown away by there sound. I instantly fell in love with this CD, the rock sound is impressive, and the lyrics are awesome. If this isn't "worship" music I don't know what it. It Rocks, and I will definitely pick up their next CD.

Time A true masterpiece. September 25th 2004 by Ron in Du Quoin, Il
Of the 5 regular studio albums released by Third Day, "Time" is probably my overall favorite. 3D returned to their musical roots, and lyrically they also managed to deliver some of their most powerful songs to date. There are no filler tracks here--everything on this CD is great. My overall favorite song is "What Good," which addresses the question "what does it profit a man if he should gain the whole world yet forfeit his own soul?" Other favorites include "Took My Place," "Your Love, Oh Lord,""I've Always Loved You," "Give," "Can't Take the Pain" (voicing Peter's guilt & remorse after denying Jesus and then running away) and the Rapture-themed "Sky Falls Down." "Time" is a great album from Third Day. It ranks as one of my favorites, just behind the "Offerings" releases.

Wire Amazing! September 29th 2004 by Anonymous in
I just think that Third Day is awesome, and this CD is wonderful too. I recommend this to anyone who thinks they'd like it.

Third Day - New Edition Powerful Song September 30th 2004 by Anonymous in World Traveler
This CD has one of the most powerful yet under-rated songs I have ever heard. Take a close listen to "thief" and I think you will agree. A friend played this song for me on the way home from seeing "The Passion of the Christ". The only thing I can say is WOW!
|
 |
Come Together Another great album from 3D! October 1st 2004 by Ron in Du Quoin, IL
Third Day followed the platinum success of their worship album Offerings with Come Together. This album was the product of an 18-month long process and projects the theme of Christians putting aside their denominational differences and "coming together" as a unified body of Christ, obeying His command to "love one another." Back at the production helm is Monroe Jones, who has produced 3D since the Time album. My overall favorite song on CT is "Still Listening," about opening one's heart to hear God's voice for direction in our lives, and how we often listen expecting to hear a mighty shout when He is actually whispering to us. Some other great tracks include the title track, "40 Days," "Show Me Your Glory," "Get On," "I Don't Know" & "Nothing Compares." Come Together is another great album from Third Day--one that I always keep closeby to listen to either at home or in the car.

Time Run, Dont Walk October 21st 2004 by Hollie in Duluth, GA
You must run, not walk to pick up a copy of this cd if you have yet not heard it. This is by far the best Third Day album up unto today. With songs like I've Took My Place Never Bow Down Sky Falls Down you have just got to get up and move, but there are some amazing soft spoken ballads on here as well. It is a musically journy though the eyes of our Father and fellow believers. This CD will remind you exactly what it is the Lord has done for you, what we should willingly do for him and what is instore for all whom believe!

Wire Third Day - Wire October 25th 2004 by Tracy in Tracy
I am fairly new to Christian music and Third Day is NOT what I expected it to sound like. I LOVE their music and have bought all their CD's and DVD's. I have a few non Christian friends that have heard "Wire" and asked me, "Who are they?" "How come I've never heard of them?" They want to know where they can buy their CD. When I tell them that Third Day is a Christian rock band they are amazed. They have actually bought their other CD's as well. That says a lot - these guys are showing the world that you can love rock, you can be young and hip, you can write cool songs, you can be a bunch of good looking guys and STILL be a Christian. I like that message. They are going to reach a lot a non-believers. That is great.

Wire SUPERB! October 25th 2004 by in TX

Offerings II: All I Have to Give; A Worship Album Awesome music once again! October 27th 2004 by Geri in North Dakota
Third Day did an amazing job with this album. I love the mixture of live performances and the studio recordings. It's a great way to spend time in worship without having the monotony of old-school hymns. It's definitely something I recommend for those who enjoy more of the modern-day style of praise and worship!

Come Together It helped me back to the Lord November 2nd 2004 by Douglas A in Michigan
After being away from Him for too long, I came back strong and was hungry for some good music that glorified Him and would give me good music to listen to instead of non-Christian rock. This album and the radio song was a big part of returning to Him. Thanks guys!

Wire Third Day November 4th 2004 by Shawn in Oregon
I really think this is Third Day's finest work. Lyrically, it maintains the thoughtful, powerful, and worshipful atmosphere you'd expect, but the music is much more impressive than most of the other CD's. I think what makes it stand out to me is the melodies. They have a unique beauty at times, and other times, a unique rock 'n' roll feel, not much different from traditional Third Day, but to me, a lot more energizing. I found this album very encouraging, musically complex and impressive, and a great rock-out!

Live Wire With DVD Sweet dude November 16th 2004 by Jake in Dallas, Texas
Billboard Magazine was dead on when they called Third Day "not only one of the best Christian bands of the '90s but one of the best rock bands, period.” Over their eleven year career, Mac, Mark, Brad, Dave, and Tai have crafted some of the most incredible rocks songs of our time as well as well-written, intimate worship offerings that simultaneously appeal to the masses. They've taken their faith beyond the stage, donating and forming partnerships with groups such as World Vison and Habitat for Humanity. Masterful musicianship combined with honest hearts and a passion for what they do - this band is the real deal. The amazing success and critical acclaim of their live Offerings projects and concert DVD's speaks volumes of the live Third Day experience. If that doesn't convince you, take it from me - I've seen them in concert five times, and it is always, ALWAYS better than any album can convey. Their most recent record Wire returns to the roots of Third Day rock with blazing guitars and introspective slow numbers. Though widely birthed from personal struggles and situations, these songs still strike a chord in listeners' hearts that is not commonly heard in today's music. Buy Live Wire and become a fan for life.

Offerings II: All I Have to Give; A Worship Album Great November 17th 2004 by Kristen in USA
This album is amazing! It's got some of my favorite Third Day songs on it, and with some of them, I actually like the live versions better than the studio versions. "You Are So Good to Me" is one of my favorite praise songs, so that's awesome...especially with Mac's signature voice. "Creed" is awesome...It's got so much energy from the live performance. "Offering" is another one of my favorites from the album. Great, great lyrics. "Show Me Your Glory" and "Nothing Compares" are two that I love, but I especially love these live versions of them. It's like you're at the show, worshipping right along with everybody.

Wire Cada día mejor November 18th 2004 by matias in Argentina
Este último album de Thir Day es realmente muy bueno. Continúa por el camino que venía Come Together, y así, siguien siendo una de mis bandas favoritas. Tienen unos mensajes barbaros, propios de su experiencia. No te lo pierdas!
