Armageddon: The Cosmic Battle of the Ages One of the Best in the Series February 4th 2005 by in Columbus, MS
This book is definitely one of the best these two wrote. The preparation for battle excites you, the death of friends upsets you. All in all it leaves you on the edge of your seat. You can't put it down, it just draws you to finish so you can read the next book and see what happens.

Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth's Last Days Left Behind March 17th 2005 by Leah in Leah
This book brings up questions allowing you to go into your Bible and search for the answers. The book makes you think on your own spirituality and thoughts on the rapture and return of Jesus Christ.
The book does not focus entirely on the biblical point of view but on the characters as a whole and refers to points brought up in Revelation.

Nicolae: The Rise of Antichrist Favorite LB book! March 24th 2005 by Vanessa in MA
Almost anyone who's read Left Behind gets swept up in the drama, but this third book brings it to a climax. The characters all face hardships, yet it's amazingly done. From Buck being scared by a believer's questioning at gun poing, to the night-long race the border you won't want to put this book down - I can't each time I read it.
For fans of the series, or ones looking for a new dive - this book is perfect!

Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth's Last Days Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth April 26th 2005 by Mandy in Virginia
I read this book (and the others in the series at the time) just before I became a Christian and then again later. It IS Christian fiction, not a theological study of the last days, so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. This is a great book on the stories of the lives of some fictional end-time believers. Be ready to fall in love with Ray, Buck, Chloe and the gang!

Glorious Appearing Glorious Appearing is worthy of it July 7th 2005 by Lindsey in California
Throughout reading the series i kept wondering how in the world they were going to end it! They books had all kept anyone who picked them up on the edge of their seats in each book and obviously both Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins are excellent authors, but the glorious appearing, who can honestly write a description of something so marvelous that has yet to be seen. Now dont get me wrong- I am sure when Jesus returns things will be very different than reading the book- noone can actually compare a story to that actual accurance, but this was actually biblical in every form and my eyes were kept wide open until i closed the book! I was just so shocked at how well these authors could write such an important part of the future!

Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth's Last Days captivating July 23rd 2005 by Anonymous in Bellevue
This series has captivated me from the first moment. It has made a big impact in my life to start telling people about christ so that they won't be left behind because it is horrifying and nerve wrecking if you don't know the truth, it is a great book and always kept me reading through the night, I simply couldn't put it down sometimes!

Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth's Last Days Jolting story, but so enthralling I couldn August 4th 2005 by Liesl in Phoenix, AZ
The first time I attempted to read this, I didn't get through Chapter Three! That's because the story put to paper in this novel contains a terrifying truth -- when Jesus comes to take us away, where will you be in your walk with God? The idea of people vanishing from planes, trains and automobiles was almost too much for me to bear! However, I tried again a few years later and was successful in getting through this wonderful book. This book will change the way you look at your relationship with God and force you to redefine the command God gave us to tell others about Christ!

Assassins: Assignment: Jerusalem, Target: Antichrist Assassins August 13th 2005 by Christy in Tennessee
This is the sixth book in the Left Behind series- a series that tells about the drama of these characters that were left behind. It's real about the fact that you need Jesus in your life to have real hope, and it's so full of suspense I couldn't put it down!

Glorious Appearing Not Quite That Great August 25th 2005 by in
I finally finished the reading the GLORIOUS APPEARING, a year after I bought it from Cosco. All I can say is "Whew. That's finally over." I started reading the Left Behind Series around the time ASSASSINS had come out. I was immediately interested in the series and thrilled over it. Near the end of the series, however, I started feeling very confused. There were so many characters to follow, and the authors kept making little detail references to things I had read four or five years ago. So along with the confusion, I opened up GLORIOUS APPEARING and trudged through it.
The book starts off great, moves along pretty well until about half-way through when it drags on and on and on and on... Parts of the story are very interesting, and if you've been following the series, read this book, but be warned: the last half of the GLORIOUS APPEARING went on way too long. The authors are almost giving this last ditch attempt to stuff forty pages of Biblical teaching into the story, leaving out a lot of the personal and emotional feelings of the characters we've been plodding along with.
Overall, the GLORIOUS APPEARING was alright, but just know the end drags on forever. (That's probably why it took me about a year to finish.)

Tribulation Force: The Continuing Drama of Those Left Behind Whew! September 24th 2005 by Raina in Illinois
Just as exciting as the first book in the series! Engaging and exciting, yet inspiring too! A real page turner!

Apollyon: The Destroyer is Unleashed I couldn September 24th 2005 by Raina in Illinois
I picked this one up not expecting it to be as good as the others, being so late in the series, but it was very good. The Trib Force is back together and getting themselves into even more dangerous situations which God helps them through. Excellent!

The Indwelling: The Beast Takes Possession Heart stopping September 24th 2005 by Raina in Illinois
The action is on again, and it's just as exciting as ever! The assasin isn't revealed right away, although the reader figures it out before the characters in the story do. This book covers a surprisingly short period of time, but that doesn't take away from the excitement and the heartbreak of the loss of loved ones. Definately a must read!

The Mark: The Beast Rules the World Can September 24th 2005 by Raina in Illinois
Yet another page-turner! It's truly eerie and at some times horrifying what believers are forced to go through in this installment, but they handle it with inspiring peace and faith. Now the Trib Force, growing quickly, moves to a new high-tech base, and many will have to go into hiding. They still have ways of getting out, however, to complete their exciting missions.

Desecration: Antichrist Takes the Throne How do they do it? October 1st 2005 by Raina in Illinois
Usually when a series of books gets this far along, they tend to be more of the same tired situations, or they get more ridiculous. Neither is the case with book nine, Desecration. It's amazing how the authors continue to think of new and exciting adventures for the Left Behind characters.
Rayford continues to lead the Trib Force, and gets to witness an instance of God's amazing powers of healing and protection. Buck is off on another mission, this time with Chaim in tow. Hattie makes a startling stand. Hannah and Leah bond on a mission of their own. Chloe, hidden at the Chicago safe house, makes a surprising and exciting discovery of her own!

The Regime: Evil Advances The Regime-Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins October 4th 2005 by Harriet in Morrow, Ga
After spending forty days in the desert, Nicolae Carpathia bows down to his master who is the deceiving Lucifer that he has worshipped these many years. He builds up his business and has as his advisors the woman who raised him and Leon Fortunoto, another disciple of Lucifer, who would rather be a kingmaker than a king. They eliminate their opponents, the incumbent to the lowest house of the Romanian government, listening to the spirit guides of the netherworld for future endeavors.
Rayford Steele has attained his goal of becoming a pilot and has a wife who adores him and two great children. However, Rafe is bored with his marriage in part because his wife Irene has become an evangelical Christian and pressures her husband and daughter to be open to her beliefs and she prays that in time they will accept the evangelical approach to religion. Rafe is called on to make friends with the pro American, anti-terrorist Jordanian Abdullah Smith to get his idea on how to make flying on airplanes safer. Abdullah’s life changes for the worse when his wife converts to Christianity against his wishes. Cameron “Buck” Williams achieves his goal of working for Global Weekly and is in Israel as the Russians invade the country.
Readers learn about the characters who feature prominently in the Left Behind series and why they became the persons who were left behind during the rapture (except for Irene). Readers see how subtlety and cleverly Carpathia begins his rise to power, how he and Leon became partners and what are his true feelings about Viv Irving. The storyline is exciting and knowing what is to come will not distract from the audience’s enjoyment of this book one iota.
