I own so many of the previous WOW compilations (top hits of the year, gospel and worship). Everytime, I am pleased with the talent that has been selected to be apart of the album. WOW 2005 is a great deal, because 1) it has talented artists, 2) if you're like me, you enjoy listening to different genres of music, and 3) it's all about praising and worshiping God the best way these artists know how.

WOW Hits has set a high standard for themselves, and once again this CD exceeds it. It's all the top Christian performers of the year, and it's a perfect sample chunk of what you would hear if you listened to 2 hours of Christian radio. There's no reason not to buy this album - even if you only know a few of the songs, these are good ones to learn. Highlights: "Never Alone" by Barlowgirl, "Letters from War" by Mark Schultz, "More" by Matthew West, "Who am I" by Casting Crowns, and "You were There" by Avalon.

After buying each 'X' album each year, X2005 is clearly the best of them all. Previous albums have had the problem of having several good songs, but then suddenly have a song which doesn't quite fit into the genre of the other tracks. This years album is that exception. Every song fits in the album perfectly, there isn't any problems with having to fumble blindly looking for the remote to change the track as you can happily listen to them all. I'd highly recommend this cd to anyone looking for some good christian rock wanting to find new bands, or for someone who wants to introduce a friend to the joys of christian music. It's not all hymns and choirs!

The "Hip Hope Hits" CDs continue with the second in the annual series, "Hip Hope Hits 2006". At first glance, this appears to be just another thrown-together combination of random music from big-name Christian rap artists and some peculiars and some newbies to the genre. However, upon listening to the CD, I find that (just as with "Hip Hope Hits 2005" last year) that even someone like me, who has just about every album represented on this album and could put together my own mix, this is a very well put together album. It is not a jumbled sound, but a well-represented representation of Christian rap, my favorite genre of music. This CD is remarkable in that it doesn't even pull the best tracks from the said albums but still manages to pull off a fantastic Hip-Hop/Rap album, just as its predecessor did last year. I highly recommend this album and if you want more, BUY THE ALBUMS REPRESENTED! Even if you're not a big hip-hop fan, I think you will enjoy the flows and the beats on this album. Being a Christian rapper myself, I look forward to more of the Hip Hope series anxiously.

When I first heard the artist line up for the soundtrack, my jaw dropped to the floor! I was in awe that it was solid Christian artist to be honest with you, I was over joyed and was anxious to hear the songs the artists themselves wrote specially for the album/movie. My favorite songs on this cd are Rebecca St. James' "Lion" and Jeremy Camp's "Open Up Your Eyes". The music is like none you've ever heard before, its set apart. And the lyrics will be the key to opening your heart for God and seeing Him in a deeper way. This will be a soundtrack you'll listen to all year round and through it be encouraged, uplifted, streangthened, and excited! It will be sure to put a smile on your face, and heart!

It also has a wide variety of song styles, from the rap of Toby Mac to the halriousness of David Crwder Band. In my personal opinion the best song on the CD is Toby Mac's "New World." But there are several good songs. Well what can I say this CD rocks.

This cd is amazing. A big collection of music put together in one cd. The music ranges from hard rock like Underoath & Skillet, to more softer rock like Jeremy Camp & Switchfoot, and even from that to a more hip-hop/rock from artists like TobyMac & John Reuben.

Holy hip hop Volume 2 is awesome. This CD is so cool. I personally love hip hop but i cant stand the mainstream lyrics so when they came out with holy hip hop i thought it would be kinda weird then i listend to it and it blew me away. I love this CD and i think that everyone who loves hip hop should own it.
