A Collison of Sound and God February 20, 2008

The 21 tracks found in this album take you on quite a ride. There are 3 or 4 “filler songs” but that still leaves 17+ full length tracks totaling over 70 minutes. Powerful lyrics can be found throughout the entire project. We see a very experimental band with extreme talent. There are very strong metaphors throughout the entire album, and I’ll leave you to find out for yourself. The witty titles and uplifting messages are trademark to David Crowder Band, and we will be expecting much from them in the near future.

Although Illuminate is my favorite DCB album, this one is also great. Each song will get you energized and focused on the Lord! "Here is Our King" is great, and "You Are My Joy," although less well-known, is great too. Two thumbs up!!

This CD is great. It is alittle strange getting used to all of the interludes, but then you see how the whole song comes together like a beautiful painting with many different aspects to love. Great heartfelt lyrics that honor God. A must have.

This CD was very packed! There is just so much to this CD. I really like praises like "Here is Our King," "Wholly Yours," "Forever and ever, etc.," but praise songs like "I saw the light," very interesting. I really like the end of the CD as well with praise songs like "You are my joy" and "We win!" very different, but what a proclamation!

David Crowder is the best band ever and this cd is brilliant! :) Its got a little bit of pop/rock/ and a tiny bit of bluegrass. David Crowder has a unique voice and he totally rocks in this album! you should SO buy it!

The DCB lays it out for your heart and soul. This was the first album of theirs that I purchased and it has has been an awesome experience. David Crowder is not afraid to worship God and not afraid to be who God made him--an awsome musician. Do yourself a favor and add this album to your collection!

I loved them in concert, and I love them on this cd. I never was a huge fan, but after getting the cd, I was hooked! They are so youthful and I love their energy and originality! Their music just makes you want to dance and plus, it has an awesome message to give!

DCB is unbelievable. Their praise and worship music really makes my soul feel alive. Anyone who enjoys any kind of worship music will be able to find something that they can appreciate. David Crowder was already really good. So i went out and got their new cd a few months back. A Collision, is my FAVORITE cd now. Its really good. There is a big variety of genres of music he sings on there it seems. Its really cool. I would totally reccommend it. The song Foreverandever etc. is my favorite song!

If I was still in youth group I would try to get them to do at least 5 of these songs a night. This is a great cd. THe more I hear by the Crowder Band the more I seem to enjoy. He does a great job to give glory and honor to almighty god. 5 stars at the least. Deserves way more, but this is as high as the ratings go.

ok so this is their best cd yet. of course everyone will love "here is our king", but there are plenty of other songs on this cd, "wholly yours" has the best lyrics ive seen in a song in awhile, and i love his remake of "i saw the light", this cd is truley wonderful.....

They just know how to make music! This is just flat out one of the best cds I have ever listened to. They do some really unique things on the cd that I havent heard before. Some of my favorite songs are 'Foreverandever etc.', 'A Beautiful Collision', 'Be Lifted or Hope Rising', 'Do Not Move' plus several others. Definately one of the best cds to come out this year!

If I could I would rate this CD a 10. It is so good. David Crowder has a unique ability to blend worship with rock. His lyrics are powerful and heartfelt. He leaves no question as to who he is singing about. So often bands in the Christian industry avoid direct references to Christ but Crowder does nothing of the sort. Collision is amazing, Christians of every age will love this CD. If you have a chance to catch the Collision tour, don't miss it!!

this cd could take the cake as the best Crowder cd ever! but you'll just have to judge for yourself. Ya'll better buy this cd before they run out of copies because everyone will want to get their ears plugged into the band's newest cd. the best thing about this cd is.... well everything! This is the best worship music i have ever heard. forget chris tomlin, and matt redman... DAVID CROWDER BAND ROCK!! if you enjoy good worship music, or just great music in general, you should deffinately check any of david crowder band's cds. if you like jeremy camp and christ tomlin... you will most deffinately like these guys. oh and Deffinately try to go see them perform and lead worship. Although david crowder isnt the most beautiful looking man, he can lead one heck of a worship service and get everyone in the house jumping and singing at the top of their lungs.

Wow! I am very excited to see that David Crowder Band is coming out with another album. After his incredible spirit filled cds: All I Can Say, Can you hear Us, The Lime Cd, Illuminate, Sunsets and Sushi, and Passion Cds... I can't wait to hear this cd. David Crowder pours his heart into songs that Worship our Redeemer, and they do their part to bring you into a time of worship. If you choose not to worship our God during these songs it is only for that reason alone... that you CHOSE not too. David Crowder mixes Turn-tables, electric guitars, accoustic guitars, basses, and interesting percussion instruments, as well as a unique voice, and Come just as you are style, to glue them together, and give a "home-made Valentine" to our God! I cannot wait to hear what the Lord has layed on his heart next!

I love the David Crowder band. I think that they are awesome! I love their musical creativity which is definitely evident on this CD " Here is Our King" is a definite standout track! The whole Cd is great Musically and lyrically it is a little less worship-oriented but it is still glorify the LORD 5 stars
