This is my favorite David Crowder Band album yet! And it contains one of may all time favorite songs, "No One Like You" and "O Praise Him" is also a great worship song.

This is easily the worst DCB album to date. It came out in a time where all CCM was the same and it only followed suit. Luckily he followed this with Collision or he might have faded into the world of bad christian music.

This CD provides a positive uplifting atmosphere whenever I listen to it. I can just put the CD in and listen to the whole thing over and over again without skipping a song. It is rare to find a CD with this many good songs on it.

David Crowder is amazing. He has a way of making worship music hip and cool to listen to. On this album he incorporated a lot more variety of sounds and instruments and the result was a diverse, but amazing CD. The drummer from Jimmy Eat World helped produce the song "How Great" and I really like this song. I'm definitely looking to his new album, but in the mean time check out this CD while you wait :)

While David Crowder may look more like a mad scientist than anything else, he is definately one of the best worshhip leaders out there. His voice fits the rock/worship style of their music. David Crowder Band has really managed to capture the intensity and passion of leading worship live on "Illuminate," and it's not even a live album. This is a great buy for anyone looking for some good worship music.

I first heard about this cd when I heard the David Crowder Band at a youth leadership conference. My friends immediately bought it and we loved it. David Crowder's heart is totally in the right place and this is an amazing worship cd. "O Praise Him" is a wonderful track, as are pretty much all of them.

This is an awesome cd by david crowder band. They've been to Metro Bible Study in houston leading praise, and they play with a God-inspired sound. Open skies is a fun track, and O Praise Him really hits at home the love and power of Christ.

he has such a fresh sound and good voice. i saw him in concert and he plays exactly how the cd sounds, but also does some crazy stuff. played his accordian on one song during the concert. he's not afraid to try different things, and this cd shows it. i love how he adds from old school and makes it new.

Illuminate is to me David Crowder's best release! This cd offers some upbeat moments, but the entire cd is devoted to worship. We sing off of this cd in my youth group, and nearly everyone likes O Praise Him. No matter how many times we sing these songs, they never get old!

I am just about speechless in trying to gather all my thoughts on this amazing band who always point back to Christ with their lives, music and attitudes. If I could describe the David Crowder Band in 3 words, they would be: MEANINGFUL, LOUD, WORSHIP-FULL. In the past, I always liked their older stuff and then as I caught wind of songs of this album like "All Creatures" or "No One Like You," I just could not let the opportunity to get this cd slip by. I love the variety of melodies and style on here and it is now one of my top 3 cd favorites of all time.

This CD is an amazing CD, and it is definitely one of my favorite worship CD's. It features an instant church favorite "O Praise Him," which is a very good worship song, and actually the only reason that I bought this CD. But this CD is so much more than just a CD with one standout track. There are at least 4 or 5 more awesome worship songs that would make great songs to sing at church or youth group - "How Great," "Deliver Me," "Only You," "All Creatures #2," & "Revolutionary ove." All in all, this is a great worship CD that you don't want to miss. There are no songs to skip on this CD either. David Crowder is one of the best new worship leaders and he really showed it on this release.

I first heard the DCB on a worship music mix for my youth group. I had no idea who they were until I saw them on the main stage at Cornerstone Festival, Bushnell. Nothing I heard lost my interest and I found myself with my hands in the air in total worship of my God. This is a great worship band. Simple, yet strong lyrics spoken straight from the heart.

This album just makes me wanna dance and sing for my Lord! It's a cd full of enthusiasm and sparks, as David Crowder names his first intro song: "sparks fly"! Beautiful lyrics that give thanks and praise to God. Hearing this cd will make you see some wonderful scenes in your head. I saw alot of nature ones, esp. in track 5:"open skies", and Heavenly images in track 3: "O praise Him". I just absolutely love track 8: "no one like you", cuz there simply is no one like Our God! This cd has some great acoustic sounds from songwriter, Crowder himself. It also has some real good effects and bass playing and drum beating sound awesome as they join together in worshippy tunes. A great mix of sounds and lots of colors put together to produce an amazing david crowder band cd like this. It's got so much to give out, and just so much to receive too!

"Illuminate" is one of the most artistic modern worship releases to date. It combines intricate guitar work with great percussion and lyrics. Plus David Crowders signature voice is unmistakeable. It's full of sing along at the top of your lungs choruses. If you want a worship disc that will move you from passivity to participation this is it. I just can't seem to ever get tired of this cd.

Crowder has an AWESOME voice with a unique sound and his passion for Christ is so contagious and powerful that it is engaging to all audiences.
