Almost Perfect February 20, 2008

Audio Adrenaline is a name that led the Christian music scene from the early 90’s to 2007. Since we won’t be getting any more new stuff from them, the best thing to do is to cherish the gem-like albums they left behind for us. Bloom opens with the Secrets in which Mark repeats over and over that he’s “got a secret” and he “cannot keep it”. This is a witty opener because the rest of the album reveals that secret, which is Jesus. For the entire album Audio A focuses on Jesus. They are all notable songs but ones that stand out include Never Gonna Be as Big as Jesus, Walk on Water which comes straight from the ures, Free Ride a worthy cover with added lyrics to fit their “Christian” focus, and Man of God which is a very powerful song in which Mark opens up. If you are a fan of music in general, make sure you pick this one up.

Audio Adrenaline shines with infectious guitar riffs and heartfelt lyrics. The best rock anthem on the album are "Never Gonna Be As Big As Jesus" and "Free Ride." Things slow down a little with "Man of God" which is a pretty deep song. "Bag Lady" is also a very meaningful song. "Walk on Water" is also a personal favorite and it seems to be a very inspiring song.

All I can say for Bloom is it's an absolutely fun cd! I the music is awesome the message is positive and meaningful. If you want a fun cd to rock out to that has a Christ centered message check this out!
