The DVD is the best part of this deal! Having seen CC in concert, I can tell you they have an awesome testimony to share, in addition to great music and lyrics! You can't go wrong when you buy this one!

This is a neat idea. They put some of the best songs from the debut and a new track, "Beautiful Saviour." I like the DVD too because I like to know the inspiration for songs and the interview is good. While Casting Crowns has not disappointed, I think the record label jumped the gun with this release. I think a special event album such as this should be saved for when the artist has several albums under their belt.

I love live recordings, and that was about the only reason why I liked this. I ordered this expecting to get a full album, but it was only 6 tracks and most of them are oldies. However, there is something about a live performance that makes it worthwhile. You also have to check out the dvd. If you're looking for a casting crowns dvd, this is the choice, but if you're looking for an album, this is not for you.

I really enjoy this CD, except they cut out some of their other songs like "What if His People Prayed." If they had included some of their others than this album would be perfect. Overall a very good and powerful CD.

This is an amazing album. I had heard of Casting Crowns before but hadn't heard of their music/songs until a few days ago. This has instantly become one of the best albums I have heard in a while. The focus is not about performing but simply about worshipping GOD with all they can offer. American Dream will be the song for summer for me (in New Zealand). If you love worship that is true and awesome, then I definately recommend this album to you. Why not buy more than one copy, so you can bless someone else as well. Awesome opportunity to encourage and bless someone you love.

"The Voice of Truth" is probably one of the songs I'll be singing for the rest of my life. Mark's testimony behind the song makes it even more wonderful--the fact that he never thought he could do big things for God when God was calling him into the ministry. If you've ever felt not big or good enough, get this cd and repeat this song.

Casting Crowns is one of the most awesome groups around. My children and I have seen them twice and both times they've taken time after the concert to meet with us. They genuinely care so much about the youth of today. It is so evident in their music and testimony and meeting them only solidified their passion for reaching young people for Christ. This is one of the best albums to come out in a long time. Every song is great!

My wife first heard "Who am I " on the radio and had to get the Casting Crowns CD. I heard the " Voice of Truth" and can't stop singing it! Everytime I hear "Here I Go Again" it sends chills over me because it hits the spirit so incredibly hard and with so much truth it hurts! The music is awesome and the lyrics are , well I don't think the word powerful is quite good enough. Thank you Casting Crowns!

Live From Atlanta is the best 5 from their first (self-titled/beige) album, recorded at a concert. It comes with a DVD of the concert footage, and an interesting recorded interview, but no wordsheet with the CD flyer. You can enable subtitles on the DVD to use it in sing-along mode, but after listening to Live a couple of times, I went back to the original CD, which has a different ordering of the songs, making the message a little more challenging to your personal faith. No matter whether you get this one or the beige album, get one (or both). "If We are the Body" and "Voice of Truth" will challenge those of us who've been in the faith a while and might have gotten stale. This music moved me to tears of shame and long conversations with our Father.

I had the original cd by Casting Crowns and although it had all of these songs on it (except for one), I decided to get this release. It was worth it. The dvd has some amazing tracks on it including a great testimony by one of the artists. I'd definately recomend buyig it. Hearing the songs live give a whole new dimension to the experience.

Casting Crowns is awesome. Each of the six songs on this CD has a strong positive message. It is the DVD that takes Live From Atlanta to a new level. The background information provided on each song brings out the deeper meaning of each song. I loved hearing the band members talk about how they became Casting Crowns. The topper is the video for "American Dream". If you like Casting Crowns or have never heard them, get this CD.

This is a good CD, and really pumps you up when you hear the audience psyched like you are about listening to the music of this awesome group. I had never heard Beautiful Savior before I got this Cd, as it wasn't on their original album, and it is another great song for this great band.

Very few artists can capture the full spectrum of musical needs from new believers but Casting Crowns has done just that! From Rocking songs like "If we are the body" that will make you question your actions everyday to heartfelt worship melodies like "Who am I" and harmonies such as "Your love is extravagant" Casting Crowns offers something for everyone. If you don't own Casting Crowns yet you just have to get on the ball. These guys love the Lord and can really sing. They have a heart that is huge and it comes through in their music. The Live From Atlanta is sure to be great. I have seen them in concert twice in the past 2 months and they are something to get.

By now we have all been blown away with songs like "If We Are The Body" and "Who Am I", but don't think that the music stops there! Songs like "Here I Go Again" and "Voice Of Truth" are even more powerful and to the point. This CD is full of uplifting music, from start to finish. If you are feeling down and need a "pick me up", listen to this CD. Wheather it's the waves calling out to you or the giant laughing at you, the VOICE OF TRUTH says "DO NOT BE AFRAID". I choose to listen and believe the VOICE OF TRUTH. With lyrics like that and great music to back them up, you can feel Jesus stronger than ever.

Their music is good, but even better is the voice of experience that speaks through them as they convey the message of Jesus in a meaningful and no holds barred way. This album is good, but not "great"... the majority of songs are amazing, but there are a few duds. If there's one reason to buy this CD, it's DEFINITELY gotta be the unbelievably powerful "Who Am I" track.

Casting Crowns has made this an inspirational and uplifting cd. Many of the songs have touched me and those around me. "Who Am I" is an uplifting song and really tells you who you are in Christ. You are His and His alone. If We Are the Body really puts you in your place, in a good way. Why aren't we being Jesus to those who really need to see Him...
