Since releasing their album Jesus Freak, dc Talk has emerged as a leader in the pursuit of melding rock 'n' roll with provocative questions of faith. Although various rock predecessors have examined spiritual issues--U2, Van Morrison, and Bob Dylan immediately come to mind--dc Talk has taken the notion to new lengths, both in commercial terms and depth of artistic exploration. Numerous Dove Awards, three Grammy Awards, two platinum albums, one gold album, and two gold-certified long-form videos attest to the group's ability to bridge the gap between religious and secular audiences. Great Attempt to Top Jesus Freak February 20, 2008 Reviewer: Chris from New York
It took 3 years to produce the flawless Jesus Freak album, now what? Take another 3 years to write another album and hope for the best.
You have to give them props. They were expected to meet such high expectations. They could play it safe and try to keep the same sounds of Jesus Freak, or they could attempt to take it a step further. In a way they did take it a step further, but unfortunately that step was in the direction of pop.
Throughout the album we can hear the band come together as a band, not just shared vocal parts. The upbeat almost danceable songs are very strong songs. I have few complaints for this album, and am glad to see another successful DC Talk album put on the floor. Be sure to pick this one up, because WHEN DC Talk reunites, they will play songs from this album along with most of the ones from Jesus Freak.
Absolutely Amazing June 8, 2006 Reviewer: Kimiko from
I LOVE this CD. I have always loved DCTalk but this CD is one of the very best. Red Letters is one of the most moving songs in the contemporary/rock christian music world!

supernatural album March 4, 2006 Reviewer: Anonymous from Xela
This is a really amazing album from Dc talk. It shows the musical evolution of the band, because they introduce new sounds in the songs that are not available in other releases. It´s another sound, but still good music and lyrics.
DC Talk Is Supernatural October 26, 2005 Reviewer: from Mt. Healthy, Ohio
This CD is purely awesome. When I got it, I'm not sure why, as I may have only known one of the songs (Supernatural). I ended up learning who DC Talk is and why they are one of the most recognized Christian groups of our time. Every song on this CD is solid. It has a wide range of styles, from loud rock (It's Killing Me, My Friend (So Long), Fearless, Since I Met You, Supernatural) to quieter selections and reflections. My favorites are the louder rock songs, but I also love the quieter songs like Dive, Consume Me, Fearless, Godsend, Into Jesus. This CD is also an HDCD, meaning regardless if you have a special HDCD player or not, it will sound better quality. There are also seamless transitions between tracks, which makes it very interesting to listen to straight-through. I would recommend this to anyone!
Super August 11, 2005 Reviewer: Anonymous from
Not as rocking as the Jesus Freak album, this album is for everyone. It's truly a supernatrual CD. It's worth buying even if it was just the title track on it, plus the other great songs, this is a CD you must take advantage of...
powerful and clear messages August 4, 2005 Reviewer: Anonymous from NY
I absolutely love this album. It totally jams and is deep. I will probably buy it over and over again. It's uplifting, thought provoking, intelligent, melodic, jammin, well produced, well written, powerful...did I mention that I loved it?
Has DCTalk ever let anyone down in their music? April 10, 2005 Reviewer: Nychole from
Their music is just supernatural. The only way that some of these songs can even be writen is through God's inspiratoin. Red Letters is an amazing song, and brings tears to my eyes almost every time. I don't know of anyone that would not like this cd. Every genre of music is touched in this cd.
One of their Best February 5, 2005 Reviewer: TJ from Texas
I started listening to DC talk right before they became big back in the day and they are still one of my all time favs and Supernatural is one of their best cds. Everytime I hear consume me I get chills very thought provoking lyrics. You guys rock! We want you back DC talk!
DC rocks! November 19, 2004 Reviewer: Derek from CA
Pages and pages could be written about how awesome DC talk is. Their musical message doesn't flinch. How could it? These guys are the original Jesus freaks! "Dive" is such an awesome track that talks about ultimate surrender. I'd mention more of my favorites but that would just involve listing every track. I'm praying they release another album.
