Very good album from Grits. This album contains nice hip-hop beats, with lyrics about some serious topics that often get overlooked. My favorite song is "Believe" featuring Kennifer Knapp

This is a very awesome and upbeat cd! I enjoyed it so much and so did my brother. I really think Grits has become his favorite group. Great music with a good message!

Art of Translation best yet January 22, 2006
                       Reviewer: Michael from Calvin College

Before the Art of Translation, Grits had their name out there in Christian circles as one of the premier Christian rap groups. Since The Art of Translation, Grits is finally getting the regognition they deserve. Tracks from Translation can be heard on MTV shows such as "Pimp My Ride" and others. Grits is by far one of the best rap groups out there and this album is still one of their best. You will not be disappointed. A great album for those who are wondering what "Christian Rap" is all about or who just want to try out rap in general.

Art of Translation is an unbelievably fabulous christian rap cd featuring their hit songs "here we go" and "ooh ahh." Toby Mac is a guest featured on this album. Each track on this cd has much adrenaline and awesome beats that make each song an instant classic. This is definately coffe and bonafide's most succesfull album that i strongly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This CD is bumpin...such variety and such a powerful message. I especially like Nirva's vocals on Sunny Days. What a beautiful voice! A must have for your music collection!

AWWWESOME June 15, 2005
                       Reviewer: Dan from Knapp

I got the demo of this CD, at creation, and I was instantly hooked...I saw them perform live in concert and then i met them when they gave away their demom CD's. It was awesome and so is this CD!

The Best Yet May 30, 2005
                       Reviewer: Vanessa from MA

This is my #1 fav of all of the Grits' albums. Each song unfolds a little differently, and the rappers use an almost rock track. Besides, who can resist a little Jennifer Knapp and Toby Mac mixed in with the rest? Each song is to be listened to again and again, and you will definitely be singing along with Toby Mac and the boys in "Ooh-Aah"

yeah! April 10, 2005
                       Reviewer: Anonymous from ca

After seeing the "Here we Go" music video I knew I had to get these guys CDs. Their lyrics are really tight. It's really cool that there are rappers out there not ashamed to talk about God and how they depend on Him. Quite the change of pace from what's on the radio usually.
