Product Description Acclaimed rock band Jars of Clay, known for its innovative, intelligent music and humanitarian work worldwide, has delivered its 10th studio album The Long Fall Back to Earth. This 14-track follow-up to its 2006 Good Monsters, seamlessly segues in theme from the concept of “digging into” community on its last album, to the day-to-day experience of being “within” community. Lead vocalist/lyricist, Dan Haseltine, capitalizes on his now-signature ability to write reflective and engaging songs, exploring real-life issues. Haseltine delves into the bare bones reality of the beauty and tension of relationships, and what makes them worth fighting for; a common thread for every listener. The Long Fall Back to Earth, produced by Jars of Clay and Ron Aniello (Guster, Lifehouse, Leigh Nash), melds compelling lyrical content with hints of an upbeat 80’s influenced, synth-driven flavor. Anthemic, arena-swelling textures and the band’s trademark vocals, amount to the “biggest” sounding Jars of Clay project yet. |

Customer Reviews Average Customer Rating: ![]() Reviewer: Missy from Washington I just got this CD and It is so awesome. 2 hands is such a powerful and amazing song. you will love it. Reviewer: Jonathan Coker from Carrollton, GA This is a great Jars album, just dont be expect it to sound like their earlier albums. It continues where Good Monsters left off but better. This album has a theme throughout and doesnt fall off at the end like GM. Highlights include: Two Hands, Weapons, Safe to Land and Closer, but the real gems are Headphones and Hero which sounds a lot like Live. Reviewer: Tracy from Arkansas I LOVE Jars Of Clay and everything they stand for. This album is AWESOME!! I totally recommend it to everyone. I first heard some of the songs on this album in Dallas, TX in October and was so excited to know it was on their upcoming album. I have been counting down the days to the release of this album. Keep on going on guys!! Show all 3 reviews |
