This CD is awesome. Letters from War brought tears into my eyes. I love He will Carry Me. It's so inspiring to listen to this CD. There was one really fast song with a great beat for those of you who like variety.

I have been very impressed with this cd of Mark Schultz. He is a profound songwriter whose songs will minister to your core. They will also strengthen you faith and convict you in areas where you need to change a little. Props to Mark for being obedient to God's leading in his songwriting. Very good cd.

This is simply an awesome CD, and is in my opinion underrated. When I purchased a small stack of CDs this week, I went straight for CDs like Illuminate by DMB, music by the Newsboys, and a few tracks by Steven Curtis Chapman. I bought Mark Schultz's CD for "He Will Carry Me," a song I liked over the radio. I didn't expect to be flooded with so many great songs. Mark Schultz is a very creative, flexible artists. His track, "He Will Carry Me" is sensitive and touching to anyone who's been through trying times of faith. He doesn't hesitate to add in a fun song "Running Just to Catch Myself" into the mix, though. With catchy tunes and lyrics that 'click,' nearly every track on this CD is stunning. It's hard to put this CD into any one genre. A few tracks are beautiful piano tunes that match Mark Schultz's voice very well to convey a strong sense of emotion. Others are upbeat guitar melodies that contrast nicely with the piano. This is definately one of the best buys I've made. Highly advised for anyone who wants to have a taste of some great music.

I encourage everyone I know to buy this album. It is Mark Schultz at his absolute best. It was definitely the best album of 2004. The songs range from absurdly funny"Running to Catch Myself" to heartbreakingly excellent" Letters from War" and "He will carry Me" to extremely encouraging"You are a Child of Mine" Buy this album. It will speak to you on so many levels. You won't be disappointed!

If you want to straighten your relation with God, and you want to know what He thinks about you, listen to this cd, especially to "You are a child of mine", "He will carry me" and "Just to know you". You will be encourage to be near the Father even more!!! It happened to me... and I'm sure it will happen to you too. Try this cd. You won't regret it!!!

You have to buy this CD if for no other reason than just to hear "He Will Carry Me"! I think I've heard that some a million times now and everytime I just want to cry! It is such a comfort! The rest of the album is classic and awesome as well! Mark can really sing a story well! This is worth picking up because it will turn into a favorite.

I love Mark Schultz and yet again I love this cd just like the other two. with songs that will make you cry (Letters from War and Do you even know me anymore) this is an awesome cd. May I mention it also has hit singles like You are a child of mine, He will carry me, and Letters from war. This is a must have for any Christian music fan. This cd also contains one of the funniest songs you will hear in Running just to catch myself. However, this song still focuses on our christian walk and how we get caught up in too many earthly things.

This album is awesome! It should be a requirement to have in your CCM library. There isn't a single "filler" song on the album. Stand-out tracks are "You Are a Child of Mine," "Letters from War," "Running Just to Catch Myself," "He Will Carry Me," and "Closer to You." I don't have a favorite track because they are all incredible and unique. "Running Just to Catch Myself" is hilarious and shows Mr. Mark's comical side. "It's Been a Long Time" sounds like the Beatles. "Just to Know You" sounds like Billy Joel's "Piano Man." "Closer to You" is a beautiful track with just piano, orchestra, and Mark's vocals. And the reprise of "Time That is Left" is a nice way to end the record. There is no denying this is Mark's best work to date!
