Product Description GRAMMY-nominated rock band Red’s second album, Innocence & Instinct (Feb. 2009), is a primal and provocative look into the dark and sometimes seemingly hopeless “fight inside” each one of us, told through the powerful sphere of the band’s hard-hitting, intense music. “Innocence” is where we all begin. “Instinct” can quickly take over. A lifetime is spent in this internal tug of war between who we really are and who we hope to be. Produced by the award-winning Rob Graves, mixed by Ben Grosse (Sevendust, Disturbed, Depeche Mode) and including a song co-written by Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin, Innocence & Instinct is thoughtful and powerful rock music, with a challenging look at the personal struggle inside each of us. Includes 4 Bonus tracks, Death of Me music video, making of video documentary, exclusive photo gallery and a 12-page expanded booklet. |

Customer Reviews Average Customer Rating: ![]() Reviewer: Chris from Evansville, IN As a parent of 5 childen and avid Christian music fan, I highly recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys heavier music. This is a excellent alternative to secular rock music. The message and lyrics are well done and the rythm and music style complement each other. Reviewer: Chris from Evansville, IN As a parent of 5 childen and avid Christian music fan, I highly recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys heavier music. This is a excellent alternative to secular rock music. The message and lyrics are well done and the rythm and music style complement each other. Reviewer: Jonathan Coker from Carrollton, GA This CD was long overdue but well worth the wait. Every song is amazing and crafted in the same vein that their first CD was, soaring rock athems with a strings in the background. But not to continue the same, they added some acoustic tracks to the mix and just made it that much better. If you are buying, please consider the Special Edition, one of the BEST songs is Forever, not on the regular edition. This is the best Rock Album of the Year both mainstream and christian rock. Reviewer: David from Rome, GA This album is long overdue. Being a sophomore project from Red, it shows maturity and growth in their sound. If you liked the first album, you will love this second album for sure! Reviewer: Anonymous from MA, USA but loving and cannot wait! at end of chair and shaking.....hold me back! Show all 5 reviews |
