skillet rocks!!! June 7, 2008 Reviewer: Anonymous from Xela
This band has an amazing rock sound, with a twist of other styles, but the result is so good to the ears. A great album. My favorite song, is the ballad: You are my hope.
Some of the best from Skillet December 16, 2006 Reviewer: Anonymous from
Wow is all I can say . I listen to this cd over and over again and it is great. It has some harder rock songs like "Alien Youth" and "Stronger", but also some softer songs like "You Are My Hope", "Will You Be There", and "Come My Way". Absolutely some of the best from Skillet.
Be sure to check out "Collide" and "Comatose" also.
amazing! August 8, 2006 Reviewer: Stephanie from Wisconsin
Skillet has been one of the most consistent bands over the last few years. Every record that they have produced has been better than the last with stronger vocals, instrumentals, and a more focused message. The meanings behind the songs on this record are some of the deepest yet, getting at the heart of what teens go through and dealing with some tough subjects. Teens can easily relate to this hard rock group that understands what they are going through at times. This CD is very diverse for Skillet, filled with not only hard rock songs, but also with some slower ballads that strike a chord in the listeners heart. It is a truly great album that teens can easily relate to.
Awesome Rock with Incredible Message September 14, 2005 Reviewer: David from CT
A really great sound with lyrics that blow you away. Thirst is Taking Over and One Real Thing are examples of some of the best Christian rock ever!
Sweet CD! September 3, 2005 Reviewer: joseph from San Antonio TX
This is Skillet's best cd next to collide. After you listen to it once you'll know why. "Alien youth" and "stronger" may be the best songs on the cd but they do some slower songs on this cd that are great. "You are my hope", "will you be there" , and come my way are awesome songs even though they don't scream or anything on them. Other recognizable songs are "earth invasion" , "one real thing" , and "rippin me off"

I love this CD, there is not a bad song on it, and the heavy songs are well balanced out with the soft songs. Great CD!!!
Start of a PANHEAD February 13, 2005 Reviewer: Billy from New Jersey
I heard the song Alien Youth on Festival Con Dios 1, as well as Kill Me, Heal Me on X2003, and that's when i wanted to check it out. I must say, this album started me on Skillet, and it's safe to say they tie Audio Adrenaline as my favorite CR band, this album is so different and unique, but it rocks so hard. Alien Youth, Earth Invasion and Eating Me Away bring amazing hard rock to the table. But my favorite, The Thirst is Taking Over mixes the soft with the hard, and the lyrics are perfect, one flat out awesome album
Truly awesome industrial rock! January 29, 2005 Reviewer: Jon from
There are a couple of.......softer songs on here, but most of them will rock your face off! From the opening song (Alien Youth) to the song written after hearing Marilyn Manson say "God is dead" (Rippin' Me Off) this album rocks!
Loving My Skillet November 22, 2004 Reviewer: Heather from TN
I had a boyfriend who got me into Skillet, and though we aren't together anymore, I am so glad that he introduced me to them. When this cd came out, I just had to get it. I recommend it to anyone, and I know you'll enjoy it.
We November 9, 2004 Reviewer: Amanda from Minnesota
I love this album! It's incredible. Skillet rocks harder than ever here, but still nothing compared to live. "You Are My Hope" is one of the most amazing worship songs I've ever heard. "The Thirst Is Taking Over" has got to be one of my favorite Skillet songs of all time. This amazing band has taken it to another level and it's one that I know they will be able to stay at. They have become a staple in Christian rock, even recieving attention from the mainstream side. This band will continue to bring us the very best from the Christian music world.
