Product Description

Songwriter. Author. Performer. Stacie Orrico has accomplished a lot in the last two years, but now as she prepares to release her latest studio project, it appears her biggest challenges still lie ahead of her. On the heels of a new partnership with Virgin Records, Stacie takes her GOLD selling resume into the studio to improve on her hugely successful debut, Genuine. There's definitely no sophomore slump here as her new album weaves urban beats and pop hooks to fashion a musical message that will be accessible to those inside the walls of the church as well as those outside. Given the challenge of creating music that encourages the church while reaching out to a lost world, Stacie answers the call admirably; creating an album that is relevant to today's youth and young adults. Stacie firmly cements herself as a voice for a generation of souls, be they lost or deeply rooted in their faith.

This cd is a great cd, and Stacie Orrico really showed her talent on it! You will like almost every song the album.

A nice folow up cd November 7, 2005
                       Reviewer: jessica from New Orleans

This is also a great album by Stacie. Christians who like obvious christian music might be disapointed because Stacie goes more secular on this cd...especially with Stuck. BUt overall this cd is good, and her voice is even better.

Seriously Good CD!! July 30, 2005

Despite her switching to Virgin Records, a secular label, Stacie still has her Christian lyrics out there in the mainstream! Definitely worth buying! My Fave Songs: Stuck (There's) Gotta be more to life Strong Enough

LOVE IT! July 26, 2005

STACIE IS BACK WITH THIS WONDERFUL POP CD! EVERY SONG IS A KEEPER THAT GIVES ENCOURAGEMENT TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD!! STACIE IS AMAZING AND THIS CD SURE SHOWS THAT!

Awesome! July 25, 2005
                       Reviewer: Shanna from USA

Stacie's first album was good but this one is a step up! It's really awesome she's grown alot. Her Urban/pop style is really catchy ashe adds her own thing to it and does what she does wonderfully. I'd recommend this album for anyone who likes pop or maybe even R&B. Yea she's been on MTV stuff she's getting herself to be heard. "I promise" is a very strong and beautiful song. "I could be the one" Is an upbeat song that has catchy lyrics but better messege. ALL of her songs are awesome! Buy this album

unique singer July 12, 2005

This album really is something special. There is not a bad song in this. The tracks are mixed very well giving this album a very unique sound. She has a great voice which all together does make her album a 'must have.'

devil music!!! j/k June 11, 2005
                       Reviewer: Linda from Illinois, baby!

I love stacie orrico. She's got positive values in her songs, and the music is just so get-up and dance-y you just can't refuse this album. I mean, I'm hardcore into rock, but I LOVE this cd. Good stuff.

Go Stacie!!! May 23, 2005
                       Reviewer: Shawn from PA, USA

From her first release to this one, there was a three years gap. And it was definitely worth the wait! The track starts off with, "Stuck." A song that many young people can probably identify with. The scenario -- as her video puts it -- she has this boyfriend but he's not treating her right at all. He went to a school dance and was dancing with another girl. Not cool. Going to "More to Life," this was one of my favorite songs for a while. The title pretty much sums it up well. This is for those out there who haven't been following God and are living for every temporary high that comes along. Inside they're saying, "there's gotta be more." Bounce Back! An excellent song about after making a mistake just bouncing back to God. I Promise, when I first heard it, I thought it would make a great wedding song. Although it is basically talking about being there for a friend. Security. God is our security. Instead. This was my favorite song for a loooooooong time. It really put things into perspective about what our lives could have been like. I could have been the person on the street begging for money. I could be without a home. I could have lived someone else's life instead. But I'm not, and it's great. It definitely made me want to go out and help some people and give money to those who needs it. Good job, Stacie. Hesitation. Why are people hesitating to follow God? "Why the hestitation? You can pick your destination. And the risk is SO worth taking!" Strong Enough. My second favorite song on this album. I was going through something at one point and I knew that God could forgive me and I asked him for forgiveness, but the devil was just bombarding me with doubt, saying that there was no way God could forgive me. He kept saying that I wasn't. This song helped me greatly in that area and know that I WAS forgiven! I Could Be the One. Who's God looking for? He can use me. Can he use you? Maybe I Won't Look Back. I listen to this song every so often when, as the song puts it, "I'm... Not very proud of the way I have lived today." It's a song about just letting the past be the past and moving on. Don't look back. Tight. Excellent, upbeat song. Makes you want to get up a dance. Let's stay tight with God. That's What Love's About. When the album first came out, this was on the bottom if I were to rank these songs on which I liked the most. Not saying it's not a good song, because IT IS! (It talks about what love really is. How we should be there for one another and lend a helping hand) But over the course of me listening to this album, it began to creep up a little bit. I don't normally skip it any longer. I give this album a 5! Great songs! Great meanings! I can agree with the lyrics (with the exception of a few lines in "Stuck") and Stacie sure did take a step up.

This is the kind of Cd you throw in when you're in a good mood and want to just belt along with Stacie. A great Cd. My favorite is Strong Enough. This one not only shows her voice talent at it's best, but really conveys the message: Christ's strength.

One of the best CDs ever!! February 14, 2005
                       Reviewer: Anonymous from UMBC

Stacie Orrico's self-titled album is a unique blend of urban and pop that really makes me want to turn up the music as loud as it can go! All my friends that hear me play the CD fall in love with the music too. This CD is definitely one of the best!
