Underoath's new vocals meld into what they have been evolving to become for years: a cleaner, more direct, heavy rock style avoiding any hardcore clich鳠they might have previously garnered. And with their innovative keyboard / electronic heavy base for the dynamic 10 song release, it's hard to imagine anyone penning Underoath with clich鳠at all. Still, fans of the previously metal-driven band may be in for a shock as catchy choruses and hooks dominate this release.

Incredible October 2, 2005 Reviewer: Krik from KY
My friend introduced me to them about a week ago and I am completely addicted to it now. Not only is it a work of musical genius but also lyrically. Listening to the words really makes you examine yourself. THE BEST CD I have heard all year. It really is a complete CD because every song is amazing.
Nice September 10, 2005 Reviewer: Anonymous from indiana
This is a great cd. If you like screaming, and alot of it, this is your cd. The lyrics in "A boy brushed red..." and "It's dangerous business..." are a little iffy, but ovarall it is a good cd.
amazing August 9, 2005 Reviewer: Matt from

cool August 1, 2005 Reviewer: Kyle from USA
This cd is awsome it is not as heavy as the changing of times, but the screaming is still awsome. Underoath is one of the best!
awesome August 1, 2005 Reviewer: Asher from asher
I can listen to this cd over and over and it never gets old. From Spencer Chamberlain's amazing vocals, to James Smith's awesome guitar work, this cd is a definite buy. For fans of As Cities Burn, Emery, and any other screamo band.
Dosn July 22, 2005 Reviewer: Chris from Mahomet, IL
This is Screamo at it's best. But not for the light hearted. Look no further if you're looking for some music to head bash to. A Boy Brushed Red is a masterpiece to say the least! I highly recomend this cd to anyone who loves the screaming, and hard rock.
This is a good cd. July 19, 2005 Reviewer: Anonymous from
They could still improve. This is a great cd, but I just feel either the lead singer's voice could improve or he could quit the yelling. I would still be worth getting.
