This is the 4th book I have read by pastor Cymbala and am amazed how each one of them are so full of real life, practical tips for walking closer with the Lord and what he has seen and experienced himself. It is not a book of opinions or ten step guide to.... but rather truly what churches are supposed to be. All of his books include a strong and balanced mix of the Word, the message, testimonies and even some sample prayers to pray. Learn the truth about faith and the importance of walking in faith. Get encouraged in your current circumstances no matter how hard they may be and let God speak to you through this excellent writing on the subject.
POWERFUL!!!!! () by in
Out of the four books I have read by Cymbala, this was my first and ties for the best by this author. There is nothing more powerful than prayer and through this book you come to understand that everything we have and do and are is a result of our prayer life or the lack thereof. I was touched, moved and inspired by the Holy Spirit through this powerful teaching. He uses a balance of the Word, teaching and testimony to show what will happen if His people really will humble themselves and pray. If you are needing a move of God in your life, I highly recommend getting this book and putting it into practice in your life. You will see results!!!
