This is the most powerful book I have ever read! Max Lucado uses difficulties in our lives to show us how big God is and how even though Jesus' ressurection was 2000 yrs ago, He Still Moves Stones today - in our lives! Thankfully, I haven't been in all the situations described, but I have been in a couple and know others who have been in some. Lucado gives such hope and inspiration in his words, and the words of our Savior. You will want a copy to keep and one to share...

I bought this book months ago when it first came out, but just couldnt find the time to read it. Then, I decided to get the CD for my daily work commute. What a great idea! Max has such a soothing, comforting voice - a nice addition to such a powerful message. Daily, I believe we need to be reminded "It's Not About Me!" This CD (or book) is well worth the price...

It's really cool to think that the Creator of the universe would want to be my best friend... and this helps you realize... He does! I'd really recommend this book.

This book made me laugh and cry. You learn life lessons along with the scripture in Max Lucado's God Came Near. There alot of different stories within this one book. There is a moral to every story. I could hardly put it down. A very good book.

I love this book in the original format. The only drawback about it is that in board book format it is designed for little, little kids and there are too many words on a page for them to sit through. I actually prefer to read them the original hardcover book.
