Bill Gaither is the most successful and most honored artist in the history of Christian music. In more than 30 years as a composer, songwriter, and producer he received three Grammys, 20 Dove Awards, and the first Gold Record ever awarded to an inspirational album. His "Homecoming Concert" music videos have sold over 7.5 million copies. Gaither was inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 1982 and was recently honored as Christian Songwriter of the Century by ASCAP. He lives in Alexandria, Indiana.

Okay folks, this one you NEED to add to your collection of Gaither Homecoming CDs. This TRULY contains southern gospel's classic performers singing some of their classic songs. Wally Varner tears up the piano like NO ONE you've EVER see. This CD has James Blackwood, JD Sumner, Hovie Lister, Jake Hess, The Speers, Glen Payne and George of the Cathedral Quartet, Dottie Rambo, The Florida Boys, the Weatherfords, Howard & Vestal Goodman, the Downings, and many more. If you miss this one...you MISSED it!

This was the first Bill Gaither Homecoming project. It features the Gaither Vocal Band, but does also include vocal guest such as: Vestal Goodman, Jake Hess, JD Sumner, James Blackwood, The Speer Family, Larry Gatlin, Jim Hill, Hovie Lister, and others. This CD is what kicked off the Gaither Homecoming projects that have sold in the millions worldwide, not to include all of the Gaither videos shown on television, plus the Homecoming concerts internationally.
