Scoop on No More Bullies ( ) by James in USA
This book showed me that the things we take as joking may really hurt and injure people for life. We need to be careful how we act, and stick up for the weak when they are picked on.
Lifetime reading list entry ( ) by Anonymous in Piladelpia, PA
An important book. When first published this book introduced believers to the reality that angels and demons can and do play roles in our everyday decisions and lives.
Read the whole series!
Piercing the darkness ( ) by Prarthana in India
It is a good read with a very interesting story line that captures the imagination. It also shows the importance of prayer. It made me want to pray constantly!!!
The Prophet ( ) by Prarthana in India
The Prophet shows the importance and fragility of human relationships. It shows how important it is to join forces with the unlikeliest people to fight against evil. It has a very intriguing story line that portrays a whole range of human emotions.
This Present Darkness &/or Piercing the Darkness ( ) by Breeze in USA
Peretti writes a gripping tale of a small town and the Spiritual warfare that goes on behind the scenes of the characters lives. These books will keep you up at night! He illustrates for us how prayer can turn the tide and makes a difference.
AMAZING!! ( ) by Rhea in
this is an unbelievable book that takes a look at spiritual warfare. as Christians, sometimes it's easy to forget that spiritual warfare exists...that demons and angels are real...just because we can't see them. peretti reminds us that demons and angels ARE real, and that battle is going on in the spiritual realm for our souls! great twists and turns too...it'll keep you on the edge of your seat. you won't want to put it down!!
Tilly ( ) by Charlotte in Monroe Louisiana
A must-read for all christians concerned over the abortion issue. I would highly recommend it for any individual who has ever had an abortion. I feel it would give closure and allow an individual to forgive themself. I am one of Frank Peretti's biggest fan. I have read his adult, youth, and childrens books. Each one including TILLY takes you on a journey to the setting of the book. Tilly only takes 30 minutes to read, but if you are a Peretti collector like me, you will want to purchase an extra copy to loan to friends. It is a sweet story, with His anointed pen.
Prophet ( ) by Anonymous in
I really enjoyed this book. I have not looked at the news the same since reading the Prohet, without thinking of this book. Now I wonder what got tossed, covered up,dismissed. I really look at the Anchor's and wonder are they for or against the right ways. News will just never be the same aagain. It truly awakedened something in me.
Frank does it again ( ) by Ryan in Del Rio, Texas
Frank Peretti once again writes an edge-of-your-seat, fast-paced novel. I thought he did a superb job with different the different twists and turns that the story takes, and a great job with imagery. This story is slightly different than his other novels in that it isn't as supernatural. There aren't any angels or demons or otherworldly beings involved like there were in most of his past books. The one drawback is that it can be hard to keep up with the supporting characters. There's a bunch of them, and they aren't developed as well as they could have been. Otherwise it's a great read. You won't be disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
Wow! ( ) by Anonymous in USA
I'm almost finished with this book myself, and let me tell you--for all the Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti and even Shakespeare that I've read in my life, I've never read anything quite like this! This book takes abortion and politics and reputations and shoves them up against the light of the truth, and some of it's quite ugly. But then, that's what makes this such a good read!
