One of the Best Relationship Books Out There ( ) by Scott in Algonquin, IL
I really enjoy the writings of Joshua Harris, and I feel that Boy Meets Girl is an absolute MUST READ for those of you that are ready to enter a relationship. I ready the book within just a matter of days and still turn back to it for tips now and then. Some friends of mine and myself also have used this book to help us when leading some small groups on relationships. Be sure to grab this book! On top of it all, I'm a GUY too that read and enjoyed this book. You'll commonly hear girls talking about loving the book, but I know a lot of guys enjoyed it as well.

So much better than any romance book on the market! It really intertwines dating and courtship boundaries while telling their real life love story. THis book displays perfectly how "kissing Dating Goodbye" can lead to marriage, and how you can bridge the gap from singlenss to courtship. A must read for anyone who is single or dating, or even for a married person who wants to be encouraged by the faithfulness of God.

I came to this book very sceptical, as Christian relationship books tend to condemn the reader and make the reader defensive. However, this one made me really think a lot about my choices i've made, and i felt encouraged not condemned. It had such an effect on me that my boyfriend now owns a copy, so we would have a shared reference point in the relationship. I may not agree to live by all Josh Harris' recommendations, but it has been enough to revolutionise the way my partner and Ill conduct ourselves in our relationship. I truly recommend it, if only because it dares to offer a framework completely at odds with the world around it, and succeeds in doing so.

This is exactly what what title means. The book talks about dating to marry, and before that life should be focused on God. After reading this everything really came together, because I never really even heard of the book before I just saw it. I felt something inside that told me to buy it. Dating to marry, was what I've been searching for. Amazing book I recommed for all ages.

This book was very encouraging for me as a single. Josh Harris shows thru stories and personal experience that it pays to wait for God and that we should not settle for less than God has. A must read for singles of all ages and those in courtships as well. It tackles hard topics like Lust, Kissing, Communication and many lessons shown thru other couples.

This book has really been a great tool for me. Everything presented is simply common sense, but Josh really gives a way to practicaly use God's wisdom in our own lives. The new courtship model and understanding of dating's underlying principles has really made a difference in my life.

Si es un joven o adulto soltero, o tambien padre o lider en su iglesia, este libro es increiblemente perfecto para aquello de nosotros que estamos considerados solteros y 'buscando pareja'.
Especialmente dirigido a nosotros, nos habla como primeramente deberiamos buscar a Dios y seguir una vida dedicada a Cristo y como nuestra 'busqueda' de brincar de persona a persona puede danar la relacion que tenemos con Dios. En vez de enfocar y difrutar nuestro tiempo como solteros y dedicarnos a vivirlo en Cristo perdemos tiempo en relaciones que no nos bendicen. Cuando Dios tiene a alguien perfecto esperando por ti en el momento correcto entraran en tu vida.
Y no importa si tienes 15 anos, o 25.

After reading the Seven Habits of Defective Dating, I realized that I had been going about dating in the wrong ways. This book has really helped me with my relationships. I've learned the right way to go about dating and making friends. I'm glad that this book was recommended to me.

I think we all know that Joshua Harris has always been straigh forward and honest and this book is an example of that! It is not too graphic and was very helpful in a lot of ways to me. I would recommend it for mature teens - any younger, parents should read it first. A good book for guys or girls.

This book was given to me when i was going through some thick stuff with my boyfriend. The guy that gave it to me said that it had helped him through his tough times. Joshua Harris really hit home with what i needed to hear. He has a way of making it click in people's minds that just tells you that things are going to be okay.
