Middle EAst Thriller () by Karen in GA

Good insight into the life of people living with the "evil of control" by their government and the people who are trying to help break that control. The different factions are described and explained clearly and the difference between the forces of prayer and the forces of evil come to be played out in the lives of these people. Moves quickly.

A New Type of Thriller () by Lisa in Missouri

By the Sword is a fast-paced, believable and compelling novel about what could happen in the Middle East today, especially in relation to Iran. The Christian message is strong throughout, but not preachy or contrived. The plot is believable, and the authors never took the easy way out. However, the main character was a little too perfect. Not in an irritating way, but I had a hard time connecting with her. Most of the other characters, named Mohammed and Rida Faheedi and Davood and Mrna, were sympathic. Overall, By the Sword is a good book. Mike Yorkey and Rick Myatt need to write a sequel soon!
