amazing ( ) by Lauren in USA
Audio Adrenaline admits that when they started making this album, they weren't trying to make a worship album. The songs were becoming vertical, and the album became a very worshipful album. Along with the raspy vocals of Mark Stuart that have come to define Audio Adrenaline's sound, Tyler Burkum adds his smooth vocals, blending with Stuart's, to bring a new depth to each song. When you listen to Lift you might hear some songs reminiscent of Bloom, Underdog, and a little bit of Don't Censor Me and Some Kind of Zombie, along with some fresh new sounds.
"You Still Amaze Me" starts the album off with a bang. It's a rocking worship tune about the fleeting things of the world, and the awesome power of Jesus that never fades. One of my favorite songs on the album, "Ocean Floor", is sure to become a fan favorite as well! It's a beautiful song showing how big God's grace is; how He not only forgives our sins, but forgets them. He buries them on the bottom of the ocean floor, a mysterious and powerful force that He created.
We all face hard times in our lives. "Speak To Me" is a great reminder that no matter what we're going through, good or bad, we need to look to God, our Father, to speak to us, and show us what He has for us. Hard core "AA" fans might remember the tune of "Tremble" from Audio Goes Video (the music is played during the "places we've been" segment). It's a beautiful song of worship to our holy and awesome Creator. "Shaking like a leaf Afraid of all Your glory/ Ashamed of all my pride/ Then You call me in/ To Your holy place/ I fall down/ Down on my face/ And I beckon You for mercy and I tremble."
Probably the most classic Audio Adrenaline rock song on the album is "Summertime". The song is full of fun metaphors of heaven being like summertime. My favorite line from the song is "I want to play all day/ And swim out in the waves/ In a lagoon that has no shark to bite my legs." The title track of the album, Lift, brings all of the songs on the album together. Lift is a song of worship, coming from the heart of one who is at total peace with being in the presence of God, forgetting everything else. "And I lift You up so high/ I forget about the world I'm living in/ Lay it at Your feet/ I'm giving in/ My joy inside/ I cannot hide/ I love to lift You up."
Lift is a more mature album for Audio Adrenaline, and it suits them well. Whether you're in the mood to rock, or to worship, this is a great album to listen to. I think that fans of Audio Adrenaline's past albums will love Lift, and those who weren't should take a listen because this is a new sound for the band.
DVD really captures Audio Adrenaline live ( ) by Lauren in USA
“This DVD best captures the last 12 years of Audio Adrenaline. If you have all of our CDs then you have had the ‘Audio,’ but this DVD is the ‘Adrenaline,’” says Audio Adrenaline’s drummer, Ben Cissell. I have to agree.
Audio Adrenaline has put out 2 long-form videos in the past (Big House, Audio Goes Video), and a short collector’s DVD, but they’ve never put out a live concert video. The ALIVE DVD really captures the energy of a live Audio A show, and new and old fans alike will appreciate being able to re-live their live shows in the comfort of their own homes. The only thing that didn’t thrill me was the often times too choppy jumping from camera angle to camera angle. It was awesome to see the live show from the perspective of 26 different cameras, but sometimes I just wanted to enjoy the show from one angle a little more before jumping to another.
The DVD features many new songs from Worldwide, as well as oldies but goodies like “Big House,” “Chevette,” and “We’re A Band.” In addition, there is plenty of Mark interacting with the crowd and audience participation that an Audio Adrenaline live show is just not complete without.
I don’t want to spoil the DVD by giving away all of the fun little details, so let me just say that between the great songs, in-between chatter, guitar solos, the energetic crowd, a Mini Cooper on stage, and so much more -- you will not be bored!

A DVD AND A CD for ONE PRICE???? wow.... i didn't think it was real at first, but when it came to my house and it was even autographed I was in heaven!!! The dvd is SO great and full of energy. The best part is when the "Chevette" gets lifted into the air!!! These guys rock my rocks and are from my hometown... gotta give em some love!!!

The DVD was awesome, just like being at their concert I went to in April. They were amazing, and the DVD really shows their craziness. Recommended for any Audio A fan, it has a great price, and you get the CD!

I never write reviews unless the product is flawless--this is the case with this DVD. Honestly, it has been a month, and the plastic is still on the CD itself, but the DVD has gotten much love. Audio A's performance was stunning and captivating. The songs were all awesome. I am a major fan of Hillsong DVDs, and I rate this DVD right up there with the Hope DVD---simply awesome!!!!

Audio Adrenaline makes Christian Rock fun with the album "Worldwide." This album is really uplifting and exciting! They've got great Christian lyrics that showcase their uncomprimising faith and also showcase their wonderful talent as musicians.
They've got some great rock tunes with: Worldwide One, Church Punks, Dirty, Worldwide Two, and Start A Fire. They also know how to slow it down and make some beautiful stuff with: Go and Be, Pierced, Leaving Ninety-Nine and the remix of Ocean Floor.
This a great album with great variety for everyone. Check it out!

Audio A comes back again with their awesome style, uncomprimising faith, and great lyrics with "Lift."
They've got some great rock tunes with: the worshipful "You Still Amaze Me," I'm Alive, Rejoice, Ocean Floor, Summertime, and Lonely Man. They also have beautiful slower songs in: Beautiful, Speak To Me, and Tremble.
Audio Adrenaline really knows how to put together a great variety and really put out something for everyone. Check out this album - it's great!

This is the best of Audio A - all the stuff everyone has grown to know and love.
17 awesome rock songs on one CD - It doesn't get much better! They have really great guitar riffs matched with Mark Stuart's raspy, rockin' voice singing about Christ and loving every minute of it. Their music is uplifting and contagious, and there's nothing better than catching this excitement for Christ that they give off with "Hit Parade."
Check this album out if you like Christian rock and/or modern music - you will love all 17 tracks!

I absolutely love this cd! I don't think its possible for AudioA to make a bad cd! They already have so many huge hits, and this cd surely has its share of memorable hit songs. "Pierced" is an amazing worship song, sung by Tyler Burkum, who gives us a treat on the rare occasions when he takes on lead vocals, instead of just doing backup for the lead singer Mark Stuart. "Start a Fire" is a truely awesome song and its get me pumped up ON FIRE for Christ when I hear it! IF you don't have this, you're missing out on a piece of AudioA and Christian music history!

Another amazing cd from Audio A! This cd contains a great mix of songs that will be good for everybody! This cd has a great uplifting quality and I believe that it is an overall fun cd!
