Great for Kids! ( ) by Anonymous in Tennessee
Since I babysit kids of all ages, I see many of these Veggie Tale movies. All of the kids love to watch Veggie Tales! It's entertaining, yet they also learn a valuable lesson, whether about a Bible story or losing a hairbrush. I am 16, yet I still love to watch Veggie Tales. It puts another perspective on the Bible stories. May I also recommend the Veggie Rocks CD! There are great Veggie Tales songs on it, yet they are sung by famous Christian rock groups- it is worth it!

It's fun for all ages and also teaches kids good lessons.
brilliant ( ) by Anonymous in CA
Good luck trying to keep a straight face whle watching this installment of veggie tales brilliance. I've heard people complaining that Sumo is not a good subject for children and that the stroy about St. Patrick is demeaning to pagan religions. Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. This episode of veggie tales silly yet insightful. I will have no problem showing these to my kids someday.
Also of note, Sumo checks in at just under an hour long. Talk about a bargain!
hilarious! ( ) by Derek in CA
When the Pirates (who don't do anything) have to do a countdown show of the best veggie tunes, can they manage to successfully pull of the show while managing to avoid showing preference to their own song? This comical little jaunt through a steady stream of classic veggie tunes will delight kids and grown-ups of all ages. Highlights include the spontaneous creation of the "Moo-shoo" song and the hilarious rendition of "Larry's high silk hat".
Sumo you ( ) by Nigel in UK
Veggie Tales is great fun and contains a good message for ages 2-102. Sumo Of The Opera is a solid outing for the Veggies, if not a classic. The story of St Patrick is pretty funny, even though it kinda has a South Park feel to the animation.
easy to recommend ( ) by Anonymous in ca
This one's easy to recommend, folks. Having seen a couple previews for this episode, it looks like it's sure to be another rousing adventure. The Indiana Jones spoof looks very slick (with Mr. Lunt as the bad guy, no less!). The lesson of dealing with selfishness and greed is an important one, so I think we can look forward to another quality effort from the gang at Veggie Tales
