A journey ( ) by Anonymous in San Francisco
This CD is an excellent choice for any fan of trance/electronic music because it is exactly that but better. Not only is Andy Hunter a master at mixing, but each song was inspired by God. As trance/electronic music goes, there is few lyrics. However, this is not the point of the album. This is a great CD of the journey into knowing the Lord and you really get on that journey through the music. I recommend this CD to anyone who loves to praise God through dance and to anyone who enjoys instrumental music.
pure fun! ( ) by Anonymous in rock nation
this cd rocks, many of the songs have been featured on hit tv shows(ALIAS), movies(Reloaded trailor, Tomb Raider 2) its pure fun music. Awesome beats, that also are scriptural, this is dance music at its best!
Electric+Trance+Techno= Awesome!!! ( ) by Ashley Champion in Toronto, Canada
Definately an electric kind of music. Awesome cd to put in your car or to dance to. Not many lyrics to it but Andy really knows how to get people jumpin'! I looooove this cd.
With Music Like This, Who Needs Lyrics? ( ) by Joel VanHarn in Michigan
Despite the fact that this CD has been out for nearly two years, I have just now gotten my hands on it. Listening to it now, it seems that I have not gotten my hands on it soon enough. With music like this, who needs lyrics? I'm feeling ushered into the presence of the Lord through just the music alone. I pray that the Lord will bless abundantly those who listen to this CD even more than He is blessing me.
YES! ( ) by jason in ky
After his first album I thought Andy Hunter was a musical genious. He created an experience of God through music. Literally a musical journey telling the story of Exodus. Life will do the same I am sure and I can not wait to hear this album when it comes out. If will definately be an added greatness to my CD collection. God is present in EVERY song that this guy does and it is so amazing. If you like dance/techno this is definately an album for you!
Amazing! ( ) by Hugh in England
This album is amazing! I've enjoyed listening to this CD as much as any of the mainstream artists like Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk! After hearing it I've been a massive fan and have seen Andy perform live three times, getting him to sign my copy of the CD! The album has some different types of dance, from trance to pure electronica. if you love serious dance music: this is for you.
One of the best DJs out there... ( ) by Harold in
Andy Hunter is not simply one of the best DJs in the Christian music scene. He is one of the best DJs period. He moves easily from dreamy trance to dance floor beats easily, all the while blending in superb instrumentals. Although my favorite vocalist on the CD is Christine Glass on "Amazing", all the vocalists used on this CD are top notch. This is one my most-listened to CDs in recent memory, and is definitely worth buying.
Tight Work ( ) by Jeremiah in Indianapolis, IN
Andy Hunter's music is amazing. Not only is the music amazing to listen to and you can "get your groove on" but the music is an actual experience. Andy creates an atmosphere of worship. This is definitely a perfect CD for Electronica/Dance music lovers.
I strongly recommend this CD. My personal favorites are "Amazing" and "Translucent."
Good Techno... but an aquired taste ( ) by Christopher in Honolulu, HI
I had heard a lot about Andy Hunter in CCM and like all the editors said that he was a musical genious for the Techno scene! So once i had the money I went out and bought the CD, placed it in my stereo, and sat back to be transformed into a Techno-Freak! Well, the transformation never happened. Some of the tracks are just regluar style techno- however I must say for the genre the CD is excellent! I just can't give it 5 stars because i dont see anything ground-breaking int this CD.
Life can be in the clubs or at youth group, at raves or in church. ( ) by John in Loveland CO
I bought this album yesterday and I want everyone to know... IT'S AWESOME!!!! I feel in love with andy Hunter's music a little over a year ago. Now that he has come out with a new EP I can't stop raving about it! I'm a Club Dj and I am happy to say this piece is so well done it can be played at home or in the club at church or at work... where ever you are it's great dance music to have around. my favorite song is Lifelight which I guess was inspired by a dream he had. I'm glad he had it! I'd recommend people who like Moby, Teisto, Chemical Brothers, or any other trance and house DJ to check Andy Hunter out. You can hear a preview of his music and see video clips of him on his website - Andy Hunter - www.andyhunter.com I really like the song Lifelight which was inspired by a dream he had... and I like Alive because of the sample of his unborn child in it's mother's womb. So awesome!
