Bebo Norman - Myself When I Am Real ( ) by Leah in WA
Bebo Norman is an amazing guitarist and has a wonderful voice. His music is very much acoustic and has a good sound to it. His songs are both slow and fast, and have very good spiritual meaning. I listen to Bebo when I need to relax and calm down. Bebo Norman is amazing.

Bebo has a great voice and the messages in these songs are wonderful testaments to his walk with God. If you have never seen him live, then you are missing a wonderful experience. I love the songs on this CD.

I love "Big Blue Sky". Bebo Norman shines in this album.
"I Am" and "Cover Me" are lively songs that sparkle. "You Surround Me" is catchy, and "Sons And Daughters" is the song that causes your breath to catch in your throat in its mellow, yet profoundly powerful melody.
"Break Me Through" and "Big Blue Sky" are the other two songs that are deeply moving.

I bought this CD at a Bebo concert and listened to it non-stop afterwards. Bebo is a very honest singer/songwriter and talented musician who inspires the listener to strive for a closer relationship with God. His music is very uplifting to me. I have 3 Bebo CD's, but this by far is my favorite. Check out the song "Great Light of the World."

Nice to have someone to walk in Rich Mullins footsteps. Rare to find lyrics and music that speak to an old folky like me. If you love great acoustic guitar (I'm a finger-picker myself) and lyrics to make you think, give Bebo a listen. Hard to find a better combination.

I started listening to Bebo Norman this year, and he is such an incredible singer, musician, and songwriter. So many of his songs hit home, and I love listening to him. I would suggest him to everyone!

"Big Blue Sky" is such a complete album. There are uplifting, fun songs like "I Am", "You Surround Me", and "Big Blue Sky" which remind us of God's majesty, power and His marvelous creation. There are also more emotionally moving songs like "Tip of My Heart", "Break Me Through", and "All That I Have Sown" which express the longings and pains that many of us go through at some point in our lives.
"Break Me Through" remains one of my favorite songs of Bebo's. The song expresses the single person's longing for companionship and the fear of never finding it. In the song, he says "It's funny how it hurts me, the love I've never had / But I can feel you breaking me through this mess / I can feel you through this loneliness..." It's such an inspiration and a message of hope.
I also love "Underneath" -- more and more as I listen to it. It's one of those songs that's really fun to sing along to. It also has a great message -- if we strip away the things of this world, we're all alike on the inside.
This album is great! It's got a little something for everyone.

Anyone who is a fan of accoustic, folk tinged pop will love this album. With the smooth sounds of Bebo's voice and the emotional strumming of a guitar, he keeps you with him from the first track straight through to the final note of the final track.
Bebo Norman is truely one of the best songwriters of our time.

This album combines some of the most compelling lyrics I've heard with music that will leave you humming. The vocals are amazing, and the words go deep. I can't say enough wonderful things about this CD! Bebo is awesome!
