Can ( ) by Jennifer in
This hasn't even been released yet, but I'm confident that it will be amazing. Derek is an incredible artist and man. I can't wait!
Challenging! ( ) by Shawn in Oregon
I liked this album...musically, it wasn't really my style (sort of a country blues), but the message Derek Webb challenges us with is amazing! If you want to have your faith and love for God stretched and challenged, get this Cd.
It will really get you thinking! It may even change your life!
An Outstanding Album ( ) by Richard Miller in Gahhana, OH
This is a supremely honest and straight forward album. The songs "T-Shirts" and "What is not Love" will offend the ones who put more value on what's on the outside than what's on the inside. But if you seek a close relationship with Christ - these songs could be just the ones that support your inner feelings and give you hope. If you like honest, truthful music that has a deeper message than what you've heard lately, this is a "must have".
A modern day Bob Dylan (with a Christian message) ( ) by Matt in Salina, KS
The lyrics on this CD are some of the best Christian lyrics I've heard in years. Derek Webb is a poet and I feel like his message is truly God inspired. I especially like the song T-shirts. It's so true! It talks about how non-believes will know us by the T-shirts we wear and not what we should be known for....love!
Derek ( ) by Matt in Salina, KS
That line from the Blues Brothers movie applies to Derek in a real way. He felt God had presented him with some things to say about the state of the Church and he felt he couldn't present that through Caedmon's Call anymore. His first solo album presents these ideas in a very poetic way! Most of these songs are like lyrical mysteries that I love to try and solve. What a poet and what a musician.
Thank you Derek Webb for following God's will and preaching your convictions to us!
Great Lyrics. Great Music. Great Art. ( ) by James in Huntington, WV
This album is simply wonderful! Derek Webb is not just a fantastic song writer, but a great musician. In I See Things Upside Down, I got an album that is bold, convicting, and encouraging at the same time, and one that sounds great as well. It has been a blessing to me (and to all of my friends that I've made listen to it). If you love great music that will also challenge and encourage you, you should definitely buy this cd!
Thoughtful ( ) by in FW, WA
This is an amazing, bluegrassy record. Few people make me think like Derek Webb does.

"I Want a Broken Heart" is one of the best songs Derek has ever written. The rest of the record is unique and thoughtful. Highly recommended.
