It's been awhile since I listened to these guys and boy was I surprised.
A very cool greatest hits package. I think it's the first greatest hit cd I've ever seen that started with new songs and worked backwards into the group's career chronologically with the songs getting older as the cd progressed. A cool way of structuring a good trip down memory lane.
The new songs are a little "grundgier" than the polished sound of old, but all the songs are good. A lot of great memories of a very good band.
Overall, a cool cd and a great way to introduce my wife to the Christian hair metal she missed out on the first time around! (lol)

Even you can't compare it with the old Stryper albums it's a great CD. It's great they are back. I loved their music in the past and still love it today.

The last time I heard these guys, they had strayed in the wrong direction. They have always had a distinct sound and were often criticized because of their antics and lack of actually saying Jesus or God in their lyrics. I must say that they are back and as infectious as ever. If you enjoy a little bit of rock'n'roll with a message along side of it, this is a cd for you. Kudos to them for gettinf back on track.

Though these guys were putting out CDs before I was born, they haven't lost a bit of their energy and talent that we've been enjoying since their debut. Overall, this CD is great. It sounds very modern, yet you can tell that it is Stryper - and that's a good thing. I.G.W.T. is probably my favorite song on this CD, just because In God We Trust has always been one of my favorite songs of theirs. Though there are a few slower balads on this CD, it is a strong performance start to finish. If you are a Stryper fan, this CD will not disapoint! I'd recomend it to anyone.

If you've never heard Stryper before, this would be a pretty good way to start. This CD includes some of the best songs of each one of their studio releases as well as two new songs. The new songs remind me a lot Stryper's 'Reborn' CD, and that's a good thing. A neat thing about this CD is that it works from newest to oldest with the exception of Believe which is last on the CD. Some (of the many) songs that I really enjoyed include: To Hell w/ the Devil, In God We Trust, Free, Reach Out, Soldiers Under Command... actually, come to think of it, they are all great! Go pick this one up and you'll be glad you did. The guitar work by Oz Fox is amazing!

duudes! for real! ive just read another "review" i gotta say that stryper is the best chrsitian metal band! great solos! great feeling! and they do say about Christ and God! and you can hear it by yourself! you gotta buy this cd! and you wont regret, i can assure that, cool that theyre back!! hopefully more records to come!

Stryper is Back!
Completley re-working the "In God We Trust" song Mike and the Guys have made an awesome new album. The sound is stil very reminicent of their original sound but a lot more refined. A turn around from the frustrations they had when they released "Against The Law" Mike, Robert and Oz introduce Tracy Ferrie, who is replacing Tim. Over the years Tim has had personal committments that are presently keeping him from being with the band. Its not "hair metal" anymore, its skilled and soulfull.

This is definitely an awesome metal band. My dad even likes them! His favorite song is "In God We Trust". Hey, if your parents like it, then surely it must be a great CD.

This cd is great for anyone who likes old metal or hair metal it is great.
Stryper was the first christian metal band to make it in the bigtime and this is a great addition to your stryper collection. There tons of gret songs on here like to hell with the devil, and calling on you. stryper and I are both calling on you to buy this cd.
sounds like- queen, motley crue, guns n roses stuff like that but christian.
